So much better than shrinks and meds. "Laughter makes it easier for us to cope with different challenges in life. It improves and strengthens our immune system and helps prevent a number of diseases. Laughter therapy can be used to cure several diseases such as hypertension, ulcers, arthritis, stroke, diabetes and even heart diseases." |

Ernest L. Abel , from Wayne State University (Michigan, USA), and colleagues, link smile intensity to longevity". [link to www.worldhealth.net] |

[link to www.youtube.com] The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank." The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects. The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard. The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 12234295 United States 05/12/2013 01:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | BUMP Hey Sloane, One morning on my trek to work from the parking garage I just felt like smiling, so I did. For four city blocks, I just smiled at every single person on the sidewalk and in cars in the street. Before long, I noticed more and more people smiling when usually people walk head down trying just to get where they are going. It was the coolest thing. I got to my building and continued projecting my most beautiful smile without looking directly at anyone and everyone waiting with me for the elevator started smiling too. By the time I got to the office, I was trying to see whether I had anything to do with everyone smiling. So, I looked around at my co-workers (who weren't paying attention to me) and realized most of them were laughing and joking with each other. It was amazing to see. Even if projecting my smile onto the world had no real effect on anyone else, it made me happy to think it did. |
