Emergency for Jefferson Parish in anticipation of the effects of Tropical Storm Isaac. Meanwile, Gov. Bobby Jindal and New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu have called press conferences this afternoon to update the status of emergency preparations.

The St .Charles Parish Emergency Operations Center is fully activated and taking actions in preparation for Tropical Storm Isaac, which is currently forecast to make landfall as a strong category 2 hurricane near Biloxi, Miss.on Tuesday.

The parish expects to see 105 mph winds with higher gusts and storm surges between 6 to 8 feet beginning Monday night and into Tuesday. The parish is currently under a hurricane watch.

Parish President V.J. St. Pierre Jr. at 10:15 a.m. declared a state of emergency due to Isaac.

Grand Isle issues Mandatory evacuation in effect. Residents must leave by 9 am Monday

Democrats spent THREE DECADES looting the Local Levee Boards in Louisiana, for personal and Democrat gain. The New Orleans Levee District even had a private, Gulfstream III Luxury Jet the taxpayers were paying for, that Chocolate City Dems used for political trips.

The result was rich Democrat politicians, and substandard-built levee systems, that resulted in hundreds of deaths.

But you didn't see that in the Mainstream Media, or on MSNBC, did you? Just the drumbeat of "Bush's Fault!, Bush Hates Black People and Wants Them To Die!!", pimped by completely biased, republican-hating reporters.
