Earthquake swarm 'classic' activity for Brawley area, USGS says
August 26, 2012 | 4:22 pm

Imperial County was hit by a swarm of earthquakes Sunday — including two measuring at magnitudes greater than 5.0 — but experts said the activity doesn't mean "the Big One" was next.

The first quake — a magnitude 3.8 temblor — occurred at 10:02 a.m. about three miles northwest of Brawley, and was followed by a series of other quakes in the same general area, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The agency's data have changed throughout the day, but the two largest quakes measured at magnitudes of 5.5 and 5.3.

So this morning these are additional.

MAP 5.2 2012/08/27 05:23:23 30.732 -113.875 10.1 GULF OF CALIFORNIA
MAP 7.3 2012/08/27 04:37:20 12.278 -88.528 20.3 OFFSHORE EL SALVADOR

Now let's go over to ISAAC and notice that HAARP appears to be trying to control it and move it.

[link to www.haarpstatus.com]

The conspiracy theory is that HAARP is trying to move the hurricane but at the same time destabilizing the area causing earthquake activity maybe even distant earthquake activity.

Is it true?

There is a video in the link.

We've never seen a Brawley swarm followed by a big earthquake on another fault," Graves added.

A number of families were displaced and hospital patients evacuated as a result of the most recent earthquakes.

No deaths or critical injuries were reported from the quakes, the largest of which measured magnitudes 5.3 and 5.5.
Some buildings were damaged by the quakes, including 20 mobile homes that shifted from their foundations, according to the Imperial County Office of Emergency Services. The office was working with the American Red Cross to set up a shelter for displaced families at the Imperial Valley College gymnasium.

The quakes caused scattered power outages, including at Pioneers Memorial Hospital, which lost power for about three hours. Assistant hospital administrator Art Mejia said generators immediately kicked in, but officials decided to evacuate patients in case the facility had suffered structural damage.

"We decided to err on the side of caution," he said.

Patients in critical condition were transferred to other hospitals in the area or in San Diego and Riverside counties, while others were either discharged or moved across the street to a medical office building.

Article is 2 hours old at 3:05 Eastern Time

"It's not uncommon for us to have earthquakes out here, but at this frequency and at this magnitude it's fairly unusual," said George Nava, the mayor of Brawley, a town of 25,000.
"And the fact that the aftershocks keep coming are a little alarming," he said.
At the El Sol Market, food packages fell from shelves and littered the aisles.
"It felt like there was quake every 15 minutes. One after another. My kids are small and they're scared and don't want to come back inside," said Mike Patel, who manages Townhouse Inn & Suites.
A TV came crashing down and a few light fixtures broke inside the motel, Patel said.
The first quake, with a magnitude of 3.9, occurred at 10:02 a.m. The USGS said more than 300 aftershocks struck the same approximate epicenter.

I have thought these hurricanes could possibly be weatherwarfare. On the other hand all the conditions are right for them to form but, it seems like too many and as with this one very directed and timed. Is it possible?
I had to type it. I have thought it for years.

A little of both maybe. I have thought the same, but don't know for sure. How could we know for sure. I am in the FL. armpit(hehe) and seem to always be between the BIG storms luckily.

What if ww!!! is going on now through weather manipulation and seismic triggers. Maybe even a war for our minds is ww!!! and going on now.

Almost not worth losing your sanity over and just do the best you can with what you got.

Re: lotsa earthquakes in Southern California
lol

CNN latest forcast is the president has been briefed by the fema director.

Then he talked with governors and promised the federal government would do the bestest it can to help.

The good news is people have rebuilt higher and stronger houses.

Bay St Louis had an 8 ft seawall and now it is bigger, stronger, smarter and more expensive.

Windows to withstand 200 mile an hour winds and 6 inch cement walls on the houses.

Now the latest forecast. 70mph forming and eyewall, open to the north, it is intensifying rapidly now. It is back on track to be very close to New Orleans.

At 8 am it will make it's closest approach to New Orleans. The big threat is storm surge, 8 to 12 feet.

Then hes says 100 mph wind like he just didn't say 70.

New Orleans is very much more protected than last time and the evacuation at this time is only voluntary.

:) Anybody else watch that? I think I got it right.
