Their bodies were found in a house in the Musa Qala district of Helmand province in an area under almost complete Taliban control. Afghan officials said shooting had been heard at the scene and the victims may have been shot first, but because of insecurity in the area they were finding it difficult to investigate what had happened. I understand that the terrain in that country is very hard to cross, with a lot of mountains and caves but with all those drones and advanced tech how in God's name did the US manage to leave that place worse than it was when they got there !? |
