Man hung himself over I-26 Bridge North of Asheville, NC

We live in a small mountain town North of Asheville, NC. My neighbor's teenage son was driving home this evening when he approached our exit off of I-26 and saw several cop cars. Traffic was blocked on both sides of the Interstate. He was expecting a bad car accident but saw no cars. Then he heard some people talking and it turns out some man had hung himself off the bridge over interstate traffic.

It just happened about an hour ago so it's not on the news yet but, WOW! This is a small mountain community and unless it was a college kid, chances are it is someone my family knows. Whoever it was, my heart and prayers go out to his family.

I am only posting it here because this hits so close to home and is downright depressing . Things are bad everywhere but you KNOW sh*t is getting real when someone hangs himself at the exit into your small town.
