Anonymous Coward User ID: 1536391 United States 08/28/2012 12:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Remember folks, you must wait for them to actually enter your domicile. They must be inside the walls of your home before you shoot. Once they are inside, give them 5 to the chest and one to the forehead. Do not pull the gun unless you intend to kill them dead. It does not matter if they are torturing you and your family if you don't kill them they can come back and sue you for all your worth. So finish the job correctly. And always keep in mind that you are ridding Earth of its scum. So have no remorse in bagging some criminal. |

It is, and always has been the rule that if they come in your home, you can fill the perp with lead. If it runs outside and you shoot it again, be sure to drag it back INSIDE, before calling the authorities. |

That may be true, but if I'm on the jury, no way in hell do I convict the homeowner. I might even thank him for preventing FUTURE burglaries. |

In short.Defend your self with lethal force, but when the threat is no longer a danger to you,do not pursue or keep on shooting. His defense should be heat of the moment, fear for his life, temporary insanity, all directly caused solely by the intruder, and declare he is now perfectly sane and that he believes anyone, including a cop, would have been in the same state of mind as he was given the threat he faced, and that he has no responsibility to be battle hardened just to own a gun and protect himself at home, and that he surrenders none of his rights, and he should plead absolutely, positively, 100% NOT guilty. Because, in fact, that is exactly what happened. He had NO mind or intent to kill ANYONE until he was invaded, in his home, by a criminal, who put him at fear for his life. That he was driven into a state of temporary insanity out of fear for his life, even to the level of a murderous, uncontrollable rage, is simply not his fault. It is clearly the perps fault. He has no responsibility to control his rage when being criminally attacked - like a cop does. The criminal invader committed suicide by home defender, simple as that. |
