That left/right, conservative/liberal paradigm this country is used to (because as long as we do not have numerous parties as like in Bolivia) the interest is in keeping with party lines. That has not changed...not enough people really want a representative government or we would make it happen on local levels all the way up. It is about having a stark difference in parties and throwing complete support behind the horse that will win. I love Ron Paul, he is as honest of a man that you can find in Congress, but even with the delegates he had, he would not win the presidency, because the system we have doesn't operate with representation. True representation is not what we in the states enjoy...it is what nations like Bolivia enjoy: "Bolivia's proportional representation system has encouraged the formation of several political parties. Numerous parties and coalitions have formed and dissolved over the years, usually tied to the personalities of the various leaders." | Damrod User ID: 6266696 08/28/2012 11:39 AM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yep, it sure is. We watch in horror as this slow motion train wreck destroys the principles we all stand for. As a Libertarian since 2008, I strongly feel that our founding fathers would first vomit and then go to fists against the GOP. This is utter madness. Yet the Romney robots will declare it to be "normal" practice to change the rules if the rules mean you might not win. they are so convinced that removing the "black man" is more important than honor and integrity...I strongly disagree. I do not want Obama to win...but I do not want Romney to win either...especially this way. He is apparently convinced this nomination and victory is his "divine right" purely because he is wealthy and a member of a psychopathic, controlling cult. If you don't think his "cult" will effect policy in this country....you don't know any Mormons. | chris999 User ID: 19470458 08/28/2012 01:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I feel like the GOP got played for fools by the current administration and liberal media. They basically have been recently reporting Romney is near even in polls (even leads in terms of delegates) so they take this sign to fully back Romney and the GOP falls for the false sense of security given to them by booting Ron Paul and it backfired. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21879576 They walked right into checkmate. Exactly. I renounced the GOP after the way they stole the nomination from Ron Paul. I despise Obama, but I will vote for him before I will vote for the obvious puppet that the international banks have placed before the masses. The economic collapse is coming. We need a candidate that supports the people instead of the banks. They are about to steal America and all of our property based on a pyramid scheme called the Federal Reserve. Anyone who has not done the proper research on the Federal Reserve needs to do so right now. The Federal Reserve is not a government entity. Instead, it is a private international bank, and they think that they OWN America. WAKE UP! Renounce Romney now. I dont mean everything I say to be literal. I just like to throw around ideas, and play devil's advocate. I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use. -Galileo Galilei |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11378358 Its not too late. All of us liberty people need to educate the masses about the Federal Reserve and how this economic collapse was created on purpose so that interntional bankers could steal everything that hardworking Americans have worked for. Mitt Romney is exactly the guy that the bankers want to take everything. I dont mean everything I say to be literal. I just like to throw around ideas, and play devil's advocate.
