Also, the anti-cyclone has now positioned itself over the low-level circulation. It is now stacking where it can begin ventilation. Isaac will be cranking up. I will hold you to it, if Isaac reachs above a cat 3 I will pay you $10 via paypal. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 19791558 United States 08/28/2012 08:36 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There is not enough time for Isaac to become a CAT5 or even a 3. Maybe not even a 2. Chill out. Isaac is NOT and WILL NOT be a Katrina. New Orleans is a different city than she was 7 years ago. Way more protected from levee breech. We may lose power for awhile, we may have 24 hours of rain. But this is not going to be a Katrina. As far as the oil and corexit and your imaginary friend SYNTHIA coming in? Yeah we have already had a number of storms since 2010 that would have brought any chemicals to shore. There also is this thing called a tide that is constantly bringing in new water from gulf. There are 1000's of ships a year that travel all throughout the gulf and come up the MS river and to ports all along the gulf coast. These chemicals would have been coming into our waters for over 2 years. STFU Talk about the storm all you want. It is important to share information. But shut up about the virus bs. Take it from a local. This is NOT DOOM. Isaac is going to be similar to a bad snowstorm out east where people are uncomfortable for a little bit without power and such. |
