I am seeing President Obama as a little left of center, which may or may not be a big deal, but his biggest strength in my opinion, is his balance.

To be truely fair, remember the state of the nation when he took office. Two large wars, massive unemployment, a massive and swelling deficit and an ugly recession.

No one could have turned things around on a dime so I believe Americans should remember where you were and where you are now.

Also consider that most of Europe is already in double-dip territory along with Britain. America is better off at the moment than most of the world.

I don't mind a centrist government or even a sliver right as Canada is currently with Prime Minister Harper.

What is far more importamt, again, in my opinion, is the man; what he is doing for the country and its people.

America may slide into another recession but with the way of the world as it is, can any man stave off the inevitable? The financial system is broken, crooked and out of control.

Mr. Obama is one man, a human. I truely believe he works with a dysfunctional Congress. I also believe he is willing to work with Congress but it seems that there is no compromise with Republicans that have steered further and further 'right' and have become so self-interested that they have lost sight of 'the people'.

What I cannot understand is Mr. Romney's version of Romneycare in Mass. which is not so different than Obamacare, yet he chastises Obama about it constantly. Does that make him a hypocrite?

The world is sliding into dangerous territory. Peak Oil is not so far away. The overused mantra of 'Drill, baby, drill' may offer some relief over a very limited period but it doesn't materially change the fact that America's oil production peaked some 40 years ago.

To throw out another overused statement, is it better to attempt these rough waters with the devil you know that the devil you don't?

Finally, I believe Americans need to think long and hard about the next 4 years and to be truely objective in their choices.

Thank you for reading.

Obama is NOT just left of center. He is totally slamming the left side wall, trying to burst through it.

I do remember the state of the country when he took over. It was the shits, but I also remember that he and his so-called democrats had taken control of the government two years before and created this mess. Look at the housing crash. It was started by Barney frank demanding that Freddy and Fanny should spend another $200,000,000,000.00 they didn't have.

I also remember that Obama created an $800,000,000,000.00 stimulus package that only stimulated more unemployment. I remember that HE bailed out Wall Street and the auto companies, both of which was and still illegal.

I also remember that HE had a two year window where he controlled both houses of Congress and created the greatest tax burden on the US taxpayers than has ever been created in the history of the world.

I heard how he ended one war and slowed the other. I also know that Bush ordered one war done before he left office, and Obama extended it for another two years.

The problem is that most of the US sees what is going on, and is trying to change it. The Liberals see what is going on and demanding that only their ideas are acceptable to all of mankind! Liberals are NOT interested in listening to, or even allowing discussion on anything other than their own agenda. They are not willing for America to be run by Americans, then want to give all and total charge to the UN.

I see what is going on in this country. And it aint good!
