Bay Bridge MD: "unusual and slight vertical movement of the bridge. "

I live in VA when I heard this I thought earthquake, there have been so many small tremors it is unbelievable.

Thats crazy. I've lived about 10 miles from the Bay Bridge my whole life and never heard of it "moving." Ruh-roh! It must be "Chessie" the Bay monster!!!

USGS shows no earthquake activity in that area.

Wouldn't that be a sight if the bridge had some serious issue...scary stuff.

I almost forgot about Chessie love that!

Last week we were driving over the bridge and I noticed a TILTING SLANT ON IT!!!! I told my husband that the bridge is tilting. He noticed that too????

I've walked that bridge one time at their yearly bridge walk....it constantly moves. The workers must have felt something different huh?

It sways horizontally...never felt vertical movement though

Must have felt something different then the standard "moving". I mean they shut it down the west bound side until its inspected.
