Those who have achieved some form of enlightenment often say "there is nobody home". ie, their egos are out of the way. In this case, the "Nobody" is a real person, although he/she, is also in everyone. The term "Ishvara" in Hinduism means the union of opposites, and is usually represented by a male & female figure joined together as one, half man, half woman. The unification of opposites = divinity, right and left brain equal and in harmony. This also happens in the external world, manifesting in real people. The Christ is the perfect and harmonious balance between male and female. The Nobody and his Mate, are a personification of this union. They really exist... but look inside for them, not outside. In this state of union, they are Divine, Immortal, and have powers, and yet they never use them for show, and they have no ego around them. This is who they are, this is who you are... discover the Nobody within. Discover that being Human is being Divine. |
