Artic Ice Melt Record Broken

Artic Ice Melt reaches record low. With everything going on it seems the largest ice melt on record has been taken place.

Bad news for global temperatures as these ice caps are our biggest controlling factor for worldwide temp. increase

only been measured since 1979
plenty of evidence to show that there has been much less in the past making this not unusual

don't forget sea ice is growing in the southern hemisphere

if that big storm did't break up the ice we likely would not be talking records.

Also not all measurements are showing a record low some are still well above the record.

MASIE is showing alot more ice

looks like there might be some adjustment going on, like with surface temps.

Thanks for the input.
It seemed very interesting considering the magnitude of summer storms both poles have been experiencing. I guess if its the warmest year on record things are going to melt!

When you look at the adjustments made to temps this is far from warmest anything.

High Arctic temperatures have been below average for 12 years in a row.

I think its actually since 1979, for the complete record breakdown.I'm not saying this is the worst ever, just seemed very interesting to me as so much speculation has been going on with the poles.

Heres a list of some global numbers up till july. Some of these have risen since the increase of european temps. of late

The meltwater in the ocean is diluting the salt..affects thermohaline circulation, evaporation and weather.

The shifting of mass to the equator may be contributing to fluctuations in axial tilt.

There are many factors in play.

people that cannot read and will not /cannot reason carry the bling on the net. I post all the time that Haarp doesn't cause quakes, nor are the various instruments there report haarp being used to cause quakes, but rather mostly ionosphere effects from solar impingement, but it goes unheard. Good to see that guy making a statement. 4d is the time of the blind leading the blind, always the case when internets get running on worlds like this.

Wow, the lowest in 30 years. That's a great graph when measured against the 4,500,000,000 years that the Earth has been around.

There has been a high pressure system stuck in the Artic this summer. When that is gone, there is going to be record freezing.

Wrong. Record is from 2007. And this record is irrelevant. Measurements started in 1979 only. This is nothing.

Also, even if it was true, big deal, Artic melted several times before. At least twice in the 20th century.

I, like millions of others, live near lakes that were carved out by ice. This is not unusual either.

If you do more research into this matter you will find that most of the models that show ice receding were photos in the spring.
They conveniently do not show the ice growth in winter.

Perhaps the real problem is that the rain forests around the world have been and are being cut or burned down.

Might be helpful if all of the billionaires who regularly seem to run their mouths at all of us could get together a trillion dollars and start buying the rain forests back from whomever controls them now.

Then they could replant them or simply just let nature take its course and grow wild. Probably come back in about ten years of no plowing or burning down.

The George Soros's and the BIll Gates of the world certainly have enough connections and money to do it.
