I just went to the store that I purchased my last box of Borax and it was nowhere to be found.
I asked a woman who was stocking the cleaning aisle where I purchased it previously and her response was.

"What's Borax? What do you use if for?"

To paraphrase, I said: "It's good for everything from cleaning to gardening to health but then I can see why you wouldn't carry it anymore because it does what most of these other products claim for less than half the price"

I just bought a 2lb. box TODAY for $1.69!
You can still buy it in america at least for the time being.

Exactly. Retailers make squat off of it. Why would they carry the ultimate product at the ultimately low price?

I've used borax before, and it's good for some things, but I was going to recommend serrapeptase too. I've been using it for 4 weeks now and am quite happy with the results. I noticed some changes right away, but I've had better results after increasing the dosage. There's not really a specific dosage for it. You have to experiment with it and see what works best for you. This is a very good article on systemic enzymes, which is what serrapeptase is.

I'm pretty sure you mean baking POWDER has aluminum and you can find some baking POWDERs labeled as aluminum-free.

However, baking SODA does NOT have aluminum in it. This can be easily researched and confirmed.

Baking POWDER has aluminum not baking SODA.

I've just read that "scientific paper" and being used to reading such papers as part of my job, that one really doesn't look right at all. Very odd indeed.
It's more like an advertisement for his Borex tablets than a proper paper.

I'm not saying that borax is good or bad for you (although it certainly will make you sick if you have even just a little too much) but that paper isn't worth the paper it's written on.

Like I said, I don't know whether borax is good for you or not but that paper's certainly wouldn't convince me of anything. Other than the author put it together in about 10 minutes.

In a previous post I said that even a little too much of it would make you ill. That's what I do know.
What I don't is whether borax is good for arthritis or not.

Why my posts come up hidden is possibly due to the fact that I was banned a while ago for typing a certain word which is forbidden on this site (Google it!). I subsequently donated but now that donation period has expired which is possibly why they're hidden.
