5:30 a.m. EDT Wednesday: Flash Flood Emergency for East Bank of Upper Plaquemines Parish, LA. Severe flooding due to over-topped levees.

4:50 a.m. EDT Wednesday: The NWS and WAFB report that a 18-mile stretch of levee in Plaquemines Parish has been over-topped. Evacuations underway.

I know. I think the first one that broke wasn't a Fed levy and it started this chain event.

The people in that area wanted funds to fix their levy but couldn't get the Fed $.

As New Orleans sits below Sea level its always been in a very precarious position.

Katrina hit on what was supposed to be the start of this 'festival', now Isaac hits exactly 7 years later to the hour on what was again supposed to be the first day of this mockery. They were given 7 years to repent, and refused.
Katrina comes from the Greek word meaning to purify, to cleanse, Isaac means laughter. In Genesis God told Sarah that she would have a child she laughed, when the baby he was named Isaac because she laughed.
God purged New Orleans with Katrina, now He laughs at those who shake their fist at Him.

Katrina Landed in Mississippi and didn't make a direct hit on La. like Isaac is doing. I have family located on the miss and Alabama coast. They are a 100 miles to east of N.O. but get whipped pretty badly, there will be a mess of downed trees and powerlines for sure.
