I was given an interesting study on the Will of God as compared and contrasted with the Plan of God.
I know that all things work together for His purpose inevitably.
This begs the question of free will but I am more of a Calvinist the older I get and see the calling of the elect and overcomers.
Three Harvests of the scripture
Barley = Overcomers Wheat = Church at large Grapes = Those put under the feet of Christ
All three harvests will be brought in.
Quoting: ChivalryKnight Yes, but I believe that the only people with true freewill are those Human beings made in God's "image" (spiritually). Although made in His "image", we are mere mortal beings in these bodies and subject to things like illness, accident, all sorts of influences (emotional, mental, physical, material, environmental, etc.). Thus we are being tried and refined like gold in a furnace, throughout every moment of our lives in the World. I believe God is intently interested on our progress, spiritual and otherwise. Those not made in God's "image" are the Hybrids (Human x Lower Apes and/or Monkeys), the offspring of Cain. They serve Satan (and hate Human beings), because they don't have the capacity to know and serve God, or to form a sense of real morality. Obviously, without the capacity to know God, they have no 'will' to serve Him, either. Thus in my opinion, they haven't got true freewill, anymore than say, Chimpanzees do.
