Rising insurance costs and injustices needed to be combated, but Obamacare has only made it worse.

Do actually KNOW any seniors? Because for most MIDDLE CLASS Americans, they will never reach their donut hole. And doctors can't afford to do free checkups and tests and are shutting their doors because they can't make money. That's government run healthcare, not a free enterprise system.

Have you read what people have posted on other threads? Medicare WAS raided. Do you after August 1st the regulations for Medicare covering nursing visits and home health got cut back to the bare bones. This means fewer seniors can stay in their homes and will need to go to nursing homes, lose their independence and be taken care of at the taxpayers expense.

Have you spent hours talking to pharmacists, spent hours on the phone with Medicare Part D plans or the Office of the Aging? Have you lost your job trying to take care of your elderly parents? I have. You know NOTHING of what you are talking about.

A friend just said to me, "well there has to be lots of free services out there, you should start looking to see if someone can in and help." THERE ARE NOT. Nothing is FREE. Visiting Angels and similar organizations are all for profit. They will be HAPPY to assist if you pay them a couple of hundred dollars (at least) a week out of pocket.

And all you people who are desperately trying to live longer - you'd better be wealthy when you get old. There is NOTHING to cover hearing aids, dentures or glasses. Everybody thinks there are agencies or charities or something to help with these things. News for ya' - there ain't.
