Michigan Teen contracted Flesh EAting Bacteria--Possibly while Shaving Her Legs

Never leave a razor sitting in the shower after using. Rinse thoroughly, dry, wrap in dry cotton cloth or paper towel and store in a safe place. And never share a razor with anyone else. No clean razor? Don't even shave. Just let it grow until you have one.

I mention it from time to time only because I'm amused by it.

I have noticed within a couple of days of feeling this pressure, there is a significant earthquake.

Yesterday morning, the pressure was strong--it is only in my left ear.

I decided to post it on Once4All's earthquake thread because he is aware of this occurrence in me. I haven't experienced this much pressure in a while.

As I said, I'm amused by it--it is no big thing except what I see as an oddity.

I wonder about the anti-bacterial soaps and hand cleaners, too. You know, whether or not they are killing the good bacteria we need on our skin, too.

I stopped using them and have gone back to plain ole soap and water.

Kaylee Queen Flesh Eating Bacteria: Michigan 18-Year-Old In Hospital After Contracting Two Kinds Of Bacteria


Michigan teenager Kaylee Queen is in the hospital after being infected with flesh-eating bacteria (also known as necrotizing fasciitis) and another, unknown, bacteria, according to news reports.

The 18-year-old, from Burton, had flu-like symptoms and experienced a raised, growing rash on her body, that prompted her family to bring her to the hospital last week, WJRT reported. A couple of days after arriving the hospital, doctors performed surgery on Queen to remove infected muscle and tissue.

The exact source of the bacteria is not known, "but going from the site of where it started ... it looks like possibly from shaving," Dianna told WJRT.

Kids come in contact with metal from lockers, desks, cafteria chairs, fencing, you name it.
Just as possible a cut from shaving plus contacting a contaminant from school is just as likely.

My ex caught MRSA from shaving a few years ago. They ended up cutting out a small chunk of her flesh. Pretty nasty stuff.
