They have been talking about moving the Biosecurity Lab on Plum Island from Long Island to Manhattan, Kansas.

Lyme Disease has been very highly suspected of coming from Plum Island (among other things) when they found is on Ticks in nearby Lyme Connecticut.

Now with the government looking to move it to Kansas, it seems a coincidence that very close by is the start of another tick borne illness

Now i know that the lab in Kansas is not up and running, but is there a site in the area that we are not aware of that is already running?
