no way man the detail of what i saw was mind boggling, i couldn't believe it either.
i kept telling myself the "dust" i was seeing being dragged into the star were clouds, but there were no clouds in the sky, the dust was in the same focus as the star, and after a long period of observation it was consistent, it was not clouds and it was definitely another solar system.
Quoting: Daersoulkeeper how close to us did it seem? sounds wild btw, nothing would surprise me. i think its impossible to answer that with the eyeball. it was just so creepy to observe what looked like a far away meteor sun... the flame was on the right hand side of the "sun" the flame moved really slowly but clearly and always on the right hand side like it was hurtling towards something. the whole object i was looking at (more than the sun) moved in a circular motion, i felt like i was looking at a 3 dimensional cube that was shaped like a cross. its really hard to describe but it looked like a giant cross cube solar system moving in its own circular motion I know this is a very particular question about something you saw far away, but I've gotta ask-- Could you distinguish a triangle and an octagon geometric forms? when it was out of focus i saw a fiery red octagon with a black dot in the center of it. dont know about triangle but i remember thinking it looked very zen buddhist like. it was after i focus'd it i was blown away when it was in - focus i saw lots of the detail i spoke about
