This guy is probably feeling like a failure as a father as well. If you don't have kids you wouldn't understand this. It can be horrible to see your child having problems and knowing that you might have been able to help had you been there for him. So this man is acting out now. It is the best thing for him to be on his own now. You really need to find a healthy relationship. This is a good time for you to take a good look at yourself and get yourself together. Healthy women don't get involved with unhealthy men and vise versa.

On an average day, I would go to work at 8 am and he would wake up around 3pm and begin playing world of warcraft. I would come home at 6 to find the dog had peed on the carpet because he hasn't taken him out once. He would play until 4 am and the cycle repeats.

fact is everyone deserves happiness. not just people with a "good head" on their shoulders.

if this guy really does have bipolar disorder, then it isnt his fault hes like that. same shit with your boss. and sometimes i think these disorders don't really exist, and we just apply them all the time to people we think are "weird" but are really just misunderstood. i mean, when you think about it psychology isnt really that evidence-based. you cant "see" bipolar disorder or aspergers syndrome. you just assume they're there based on character quirks. really they aren't "real" in the purest sense, except through our own perception.
