Clint Eastwood's Brilliant Hit Piece on Obama
What a fantastic effort. He really hits it out of the ballpark and the audience is eating out of his hand.

I don't know if he thought of the concept on his own, but it was an absolutely brilliant move to use subliminal language so openly.

What he did is have a chair next to him and speak to an imaginary Obama sitting next to him. On the subliminal level this did a couple of things:

1. The chair was a cheap little bar stool obviously used and chipped and positioned lower than Eastwood.

2. Used "make my day" used to empower the underdogs

3. The tone of the imaginary conversation was used in a way that made Obama look completely juvinile and incompetent.

I'm not for either party, but was really appreciate good work when I see it.

I love Clint Eastwood as a actor and director but he was classless. It sounded like he should have been at the Roseanne Roast on comedy central.

I agree, it really reflected his ability as an actor to carry on a conversation with someone that wasn't there. I can see a lot of people weren't paying close enough attention to realize what he was doing. He is very good at improvising :) Great Actor!

Re: Clint Eastwood's Brilliant Hit Piece on Obama
Eastwood is - first, last, and always - an ACTOR! He makes a living doing this kind of stuff. Glad you enjoyed the performance, but it was nothing but a structured hit piece delivered by a dottering old man who should keep his ancient ass out of the limelight at this point in his life.

I love Clint, but man he sounded like Grandpa Simspon rambling away at the old folks home.

But if he decided to go off script and improvise that was pretty brilliant.
