So write a skit that accounts for the fact that your actor is old and shakes a lot so he does not look like he has hypothermia.

I agree. I kept wishing they'd get that poor guy off the stage before he dropped dead. I think he must have Alzheimers Disease or something; they never should have let him speak. It was unfair to him and embarrassing for everyone else.

To my eyes, I wouldn't say he was attacking Hollywood. I would say he was pulling in some independent and moderate seniors, the medicare and S.S. folks - all of whom could have easily recoginized the James Stewart spoof and the Harvey subtext.

Of course, as you well know, the political operators had started the attack on Eastwood back when he endorsed Mitt, and they had even released attacks just prior to the speech. They were coming - no matter the message.

Even in Hollywoods more youthful circles - Mr. Eastwood is still generally seen as a level headed, old school, class act. He's a heck of a lot more likely to get thru to independents and moderates than a Chuck Noris or Arnold... or for that matter, pick any celeb.

The part where Eastwood implied Obama replied "go fuck yourself" was good. Clint told the invis-o-bama "Romney was ready to take over now" and in reply Clint said "I cant tell Romney to do that to himself."

It was the only part of the RNC worth watching.

I will say, a month ago I didnt think Romney had a chance. If they cam control their fringes and keep the message on the economy, I think he could beat Obama. Imagine the liberals, they will literally lose their minds...well more than they have already.

Living in liberalville myself, a lot of conservatives don't want to speak up because the left is actually far nastier when they disagree. I know two people who had their cars keyed for having bumper stickers that endorsed a republican candidate.

The problem is the left wing version of being politically correct actually means that you cannot talk about most of the problems in this country without being called a racist or xenophobe. That is a label that is impossible to shake because all is you can pretty much say is that you have black friends, lol.

I think if a new cultural element evolves in which the racism accusation becomes more marginalized, we would all be surprised by how many conservatives come out and voice themselves more in blue states.
