Just running some lines of thought - if it is heavily damaged and requires re-building, I don't see allowing Islam to build there again, but would, however, essentially set the stage for the Rebuilding of the Temple (the 3rd Temple) on that spot.

We haven't heard much about the Suez this AM, at least nothing has crossed my desk as of yet.
I think Assad would think twice before getting involved with Israel at this point. Israel is primed for a strike anyways and if Assad got into it I think the Israeli's would take the "and fuck you too" attitude and light them up as well and Assad couldn't withstand politically what Israel could bring down upon them right now.
Looks like Israel has set up a forward operating base to possibly use for entering Gaza.

When you play with fire (Hamas playing with Israel) sometimes you burn yourself.
It's exactly what happens now.

the next days won't be beautiful. I expect something dramatic (ground incursion in Gaza means a lot of casualities, especially for people in Gaza. I trust the IDF to be totally prepared for this eventuality...).

Maybe it could also a way to hide the Israeli preparations for a strike on Iran. Who knows... When everyone will be focused on Gaza, they will launch a discret but devastating airstrike on Iran nuclear facilities !

The ARABS do not care about the Palestinians, but like to use them for their own causes, could be likely the case here.
