(Interesting post from another thread!)

CYBER-WAR PSYOPS WARNING:

Numerous conspiracy websites like this one function as disinformation and cointelpro operations run by western gov / mil.

They also function as honeypots and used for data mining purposes to profile forum users.

Many trolls on conspiracy sites will be spooks doing the work of their employers ~ USA / UK / Israel.
Some of them are bots and not human.

These 'posters' are paid operatives who are most likely employed by private companies contracted by alphabet agencies to run black propaganda campaigns on various conspiracy sites, some of which have been infiltrated and/or domains covertly purchased and completely taken over.

It's a major PSYOP aimed at internet users who are waking up.

Welcome to the CYBER WAR.

YOU are the enemy.

I saw that after I posted about the interesting people yesterday. It's been on several threads, I'm kind of surprised this thread didn't get it before.

I know they are. All the things about myself are common knowledge in several cities and states, and a country or two. That's the only reason I feel comfortable enough to share them. One thing that happened to me made it all the way to the p.palace and back via strangers within a year. The odd part was, the story hadn't really changed like you would expect.

I can almost hear "them" now. Aw, shit, she's out there again!

a break from the topic to mourn the loss of a hero:

[link to www.haaretz.com]

Major-General Avraham "Bren" Adan, the IDF soldier who raised an improvised Israeli flag over Eilat in 1949, an act that symbolized the end of the Israeli War of Independence, died early Friday morning at the age of 86.

During a long and successful military career, Adan served as commander of the IDF's Armored Corps as well as its Southern Command, and served as Israel's military attaché in the United States. He fought in the War of Independence, the Suez Crisis of 1956, the Six-Day War and the Yom Kippur War.

Born in Kfar Giladi in 1925, Adan was also among the founders of Kibbutz Nirim and Kibbutz Gevulot, both in Israel's Negev desert.

....

Two decades later, during the Yom Kippur War, Adan commanded the IDF's 162nd Division, which beat back the Egyptian forces that crossed the Suez Canal. For five days in October of 1973, that division fought off Egyptian attacks before it eventually crossed the Suez Canal.

In addition, the division managed to destroy the Egyptian 25th Brigade in an ambush and encircled the Egyptian Third Field Army in a move that led to the conclusion of the war on terms that were favorable for Israel.

...

Defense Minister Ehud Barak said of Adan that he was "one of the most important field commanders of the IDF. With his personal example and his cool in the face of danger, he cemented the norms that the IDF follows to this day."

May his memory be a blessing

Imminent Iran nuclear threat? A timeline of warnings since 1979.

Breathless predictions that the Islamic Republic will soon be at the brink of nuclear capability, or – worse – acquire an actual nuclear bomb, are not new.

For more than quarter of a century Western officials have claimed repeatedly that Iran is close to joining the nuclear club. Such a result is always declared "unacceptable" and a possible reason for military action, with "all options on the table" to prevent upsetting the Mideast strategic balance dominated by the US and Israel.

And yet, those predictions have time and again come and gone. This chronicle of past predictions lends historical perspective to today’s rhetoric about Iran.

Iran already has the bomb. (More than a few)

Their facilities should have been destroyed years ago.

Military intervention would have made much more sense before many of their facilities were fortified underground.

It's to late to avoid a catastrophe in the region and elsewhere now.

Israeli/US use of force will require a tremendous undertaking.

Even an EMP might only do a certain amount of damage. I'm certain Iran has prepared itself for this as well.

Couple this with Hezbollah/Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood(Egypt) fighters and rockets sitting right on Israel's borders. As well as Terrorist "Cells" that are just awaiting the "GO" signal in Western nations.

This leads me to believe that unfortunately, Israel's only option in the end, will have to be their "SAMPSON" option.

It's to damn late. The genie is already out of the bottle.

The upcoming battle will not be limited to the middle east. It will be felt by all.

G-d help us!

After Bibi's speech everyone thinks the timeline has been pushed out until next spring/summer.

There is no way Israel would attack Iran before the US elections.

That is what I'm hearing out in the world and also on a lot of sites.

So of course I fully expect an Israeli attack on Iran to happen right before the US elections!!!

OT - The stuff coming out of Syria is getting stranger & stranger..

Telegraph reports Bashir al-Assad 'betrayed Col Gaddafi to save his Syrian regime'

[link to soc.li]

Excerpt -

French spies operating in Sirte, Gaddafi's last refuge, were able to set a trap for the Libyan dictator after obtaining his satellite telephone number from the Syrian government, they said.

In what would amount to an extraordinary betrayal of one Middle East strongman by another, President Bashar al-Assad sold out his fellow tyrant in an act of self-preservation, a former senior intelligence official in Tripoli told the Daily Telegraph.

With international attention switching from Libya to the mounting horrors in Syria, Mr Assad offered Paris the telephone number in exchange for an easing of French pressure on Damascus, according to Rami El Obeidi.

"In exchange for this information, Assad had obtained a promise of a grace period from the French and less political pressure on the regime – which is what happened," Mr El Obeidi said.

The claims by Mr El Obeidi, the former head of foreign intelligence for the movement that overthrew Gaddafi, followed comments by Mahmoud Jibril, who served as prime minister in the transitional government and now leads one of Libya's largest political parties. He confirmed over the weekend that a foreign intelligence agency was involved in the operation that killed Gaddafi.

UPDATE - Are they just blaming Bashar Assad for revealing something they used techies to find? [link to cpj.org]

In light of Bibi's typically excellence speech at the UN -- the speech, not the cartoon-bomb stunt necessarily..... for some reason I remembered this little address by Ol' Kahane-pants

"Dear World,

I understand that you are upset by us, here in Israel.

Indeed, it appears that you are quite upset, even angry.

Indeed, every few years you seem to become upset by us. Today, it is the "brutal repression of the Palestinians"; yesterday it was Lebanon; before that it was the bombing of the nuclear reactor in Baghdad and the Yom Kippur War and the Sinai campaign. It appears that Jews who triumph and who, therefore, live, upset you most extraordinarily.

Of course, dear world, long before there was an Israel, we - the Jewish people - upset you.

We upset a German people who elected Hitler and upset an Austrian people who cheered his entry into Vienna and we upset a whole slew of Slavic nations - Poles, Slovaks, Lithuanians, Ukrainians, Russians, Hungarians and Romanians. And we go back a long, long way in the history of world upset.

We upset the Cossacks of Chmielnicki who massacred tens of thousands of us in 1648-49; we upset the Crusaders who, on their way to liberate the Holy Land, were so upset at Jews that they slaughtered untold numbers of us.

For centuries, we upset a Roman Catholic Church that did its best to define our relationship through inquisitions, and we upset the arch-enemy of the church, Martin Luther, who, in his call to burn the synagogues and the Jews within them, showed an admirable Christian ecumenical spirit.

And it is because we became so upset over upsetting you, dear world, that we decided to leave you - in a manner of speaking - and establish a Jewish state. The reasoning was that living in close contact with you, as resident-strangers in the various countries that comprise you, we upset you, irritate you and disturb you. What better notion, then, than to leave you (and thus love you)- and have you love us and so, we decided to come home - home to the same land we were driven out 1,900 years earlier by a Roman world that, apparently, we also upset.

Alas, dear world, it appears that you are hard to please.

Having left you and your pogroms and inquisitions and crusades and holocausts, having taken our leave of the general world to live alone in our own little state, we continue to upset you. You are upset that we repress the poor Palestinians. You are deeply angered over the fact that we do not give up the lands of 1967, which are clearly the obstacle to peace in the Middle East.

Moscow is upset and Washington is upset. The "radical" Arabs are upset and the gentle Egyptian moderates are upset.

Well, dear world, consider the reaction of a normal Jew from Israel.

In 1920 and 1921 and 1929, there were no territories of 1967 to impede peace between Jews and Arabs. Indeed, there was no Jewish State to upset anybody. Nevertheless, the same oppressed and repressed Palestinians slaughtered tens of Jews in Jerusalem, Jaffa, Safed and Hebron. Indeed, 67 Jews were slaughtered one day in Hebron in 1929.

Dear world, why did the Arabs - the Palestinians - massacre 67 Jews in one day in 1929? Could it have been their anger over Israeli aggression in 1967? And why were 510 Jewish men, women and children slaughtered in Arab riots between 1936-39? Was it because Arabs were upset over 1967?

And when you, dear world, proposed a UN Partition Plan in 1947 that would have created a "Palestinian State" alongside a tiny Israel and the Arabs cried "no" and went to war and killed 6,000 Jews - was that "upset" caused by the aggression of 1967? And, by the way, dear world, why did we not hear your cry of "upset" then?

The poor Palestinians who today kill Jews with explosives and firebombs and stones are part of the same people who when they had all the territories they now demand be given to them for their state -attempted to drive the Jewish state into the sea. The same twisted faces, the same hate, the same cry of "itbach-al-yahud" (Massacre the Jew!) that we hear and see today, were seen and heard then. The same people, the same dream - destroy Israel. What they failed to do yesterday, they dream of today, but we should not "repress" them.

Dear world, you stood by during the holocaust and you stood by in 1948 as seven states launched a war that the Arab League proudly compared to the Mongol massacres.

You stood by in 1967 as Nasser, wildly cheered by wild mobs in every Arab capital in the world, vowed to drive the Jews into the sea. And you would stand by tomorrow if Israel were facing extinction. And since we know that the Arabs-Palestinians dream daily of that extinction, we will do everything possible to remain alive in our own land. If that bothers you, dear world, well think of how many times in the past you bothered us.

In any event, dear world, if you are bothered by us, here is one Jew in Israel who could not care less."

(At the risk of offending Swin's 'Haaretz' sensibilities, lol, I think it's worth mentioned that it's most likely that Kahane was murdered at Shimon Peres/George HW. orders --- via a classic CIA pasty method. Kahane could have singleheadedly derailed Oslo....)

With more and more media outlets now reporting Pres Obama being re-elected all but a done deal, is it possible Israel strikes just to throw a monkey wrench into the equation. I think its pretty obvious while Bibi may claim to want to stay out of the US Presidential race, they (Israelis) would much prefer to have Romney in there.

Hey folks, been keeping myself scarce after an incident prior to the weekend on here when I let someone get under my skin a bit too much and I lost my temper. To those that know me well enough sorry you had to see that and that I exhibited that type of unprofessional behavior on here to begin with, I should know better.

On the ME front nothing new that is making me think something is imminent, then again the quiet is usually never a good sign. I guess we'll see in the next few weeks wether the Israelis will take the initiative and their future into their own hands or wether they will rely on an American administration that at best has shown them nothing but contempt and disregard for their security situation.

That's all for now as usual, I could be and most likely am wrong.

Understood -

This was once the "safe" or "clean" thread here. Seems in the last week or so it has also been inundated with many who are not interested in healthy discussion/ debate, but rather a continuation of the vitriol and some inherent need to spread dissension that thrives on most of the site.

That's why I, as I assume many others as well, have fallen back to reading the thread - sorting through the junk for updates - and just not posting much anymore.

Stay safe 'Zilla.
Gerry, MM, Swin, Steve, Tarf, any the many others who are/ have been a contributory part of this thread - thanks again for both the information as well as the discussion(s) shared.

Iran is suffering the effects of tough Western economic sanctions curbing access to its reduced oil exports, as the West seeks to force Iran to rein in its nuclear program.

"Iran is increasingly cut off from the global financial system, significant amounts of Iranian oil is also coming off the market," Nuland told journalists.

"The currency is plummeting and firms all over the world are refusing to do business with Iranian companies," she insisted.

"These are the most punishing sanctions we have ever been able to amass as an international community and they are very important for trying to get Iran's attention on the important denuclearization work."

Prior to the Irak war, irak was softened up by daily airstrikes.

If the sanctions bite, as said above in the article, it is like prior to the irak war.

Iran must know that, every day that passes, the chances of iranian action increases. The situation as is, is not acceptable, cannot be acceptable by any state.

Iran must do something to increase its leverage vis a vis the international comunity. The ball is on their side .... .

I read that, too. If that is really true, it would amount to a declaration of war by China. At least in my eyes.

A declaration of war???? I'd be interested to know why you think that. Whether they admit it or not I'm fairly certain that most civilised governments, the USA for one, attempt to hack into other country's secure systems / sites etc... without it being perceived as a declaration of war.
