Libya's national assembly gave its approval on Wednesday to a cabinet line-up proposed by prime minister designate Ali Zeidan, a day after protesters derailed a vote, state media reported.

"The General National Congress gives its confidence to the government of Ali Zeidan," the official LANA news agency reported.

A total of 105 members voted in favor, 18 abstained and nine voted against, state television said.

Zeidan, the second prime minister designate to try to form a government since the assembly was elected in July, had presented a 30-member line-up including both liberals and Islamists.

Well, I try to explain it from my point of view:

1) First of all, this guy is very limited in knowledge of this topic, he had no interest in his life to educate himself, he does not understand the basic correlations and judged upon his writing, he never saw a school from the inside, my son is 14 and he writes better english than he. And my son is in France.

2) So if there is utter nonsense and stupidity, it is hard and would probably take an educational approach over years, to rise this guy up to a level, to have a decent conversation.
There probably is no lie, as far as I can see.
There is just someone, judging without knowledge, and having opinions without a heart.

3) When I was in the States, I met people who asked me seriously, if there were any cars in europe, or if they still use the horse, and if europe was still under nazi rule.
I also met very intelligent people with great knowledge, understanding and curiosity.

At the end, everybody has the right and it is in the nature of man, to form himself an opinion.

Concerning the last point, which very much would need serious and deep investigations, some1 from canada, how could he ever understand the US ?

After Zeidan's cabinet was approved (10/31/2012) Islamist militias seized the parliament building...The parliament building is actually a conference center of the grounds of the Rixos Hotel...

By midday today, they had escorted the last guest of the Rixos Hotel out & nearby government offices were also militia occupied.

None of this was reported in MSM until 12pm today....But It was updated on GLP's Bani Walid thread....

The militias are demanding that their men be named Minister of Interior, Minister of Defense, & Foreign Minister. So, basically, al Qaeda would control police, all internal security, intelligence, the armed forces, and, this should be fun, foreign affairs...

PM Zeidan is standing firm. He's speaking on Libyan TV right now. My prediction - in 24 hours he will be "the father of Libyan democracy" or he will be dead....I'm hoping for the former...

These developments are what led Deputy Chief of Staff Maj.-Gen. Yair Naveh to warn in mid-October that for the first time in years, Israel must be ready for unexpected security developments on multiple fronts.

I've actually had arguments with fellow Americans who could not accept the fact that Hitler was German. They were sure he was Russian. Many American are part-German, so they couldn't believe that Hitler would come from a civilized country like Germany...

When I told them Hitler was actually Austrian they felt better. They don't seem to realize Austrians are actually (ethnically) German too.

Having said that, my family lived in the Netherlands for 5 years. I can match all of your stories with similar ones from Europeans. I think it's a mistake to form opinions of an entire nation or race because of a few people.
