Darby, What the hell has happened in Libya and CIA director David H. Petraeus? My uneducated guess is three fold: 1. He didn't play ball with the Whitehouse on the Benghazi attack. Pay back is a bitch. 2. They took out a possible presidential candidate. 3. And for Doom Candy lovers all, Obama sent a message to the military by taking out one of the strongest leaders they have. I'd love to know what the top ranks of the military look like today compared to a year ago????????? And just to add a little spice to the mix, wouldn't be so sweet if we "need" General Petraeus in the future and Obama has to ask him back.... Patton returns: [ link to www.youtube.com] Another angle to the whole Petraeus saga - Is there a ME connection? Whistleblower is Jill Khazam Smith. She is Lebanese Christian. Her family is from north of Tyre - they emigrated to US in 1970s. Jill was honorary ambassador for the 'coalition village' The facility where they stuff the foreign officers at Centcom... She is an Arabic speaker (so presumption is she was ambassador to ME officers who were based/visiting CENTCOM)... Does anyone think that is significant? Jill & her husband also owe millions due to Florida real estate losses.. Darby, you said something, I think, that has troubled me. Did you say Patreeus was evil? (maybe evil)? It troubled me, because I may be wrong about my views on Patraeus. If this is your view, could you expand on it a little?
