Missiles keep firing, the redlines keep being crossed by Hamas. Israel has upped it's tempo on strikes in Gaza. Like I mentioned earlier, this phase of the Iranian war has been successful in ridding a majority of the Gaza Strip of long range missiles. Israel must ensure there is a protective envelope to limit missiles for the next six months to then focus on Iran, though Iran focus could be much earlier.
The Gaza war has demonstrated that Israel does have the capability of stopping missiles. Talk that any Iranian response would cause limited casualties wins favor, though this discounts a massive attack including WMD s. The faith in the iron dome raises the prospect that Israel can buy enough support for an Iranian attack soon. Gaza is firing what she can and so Israel has reached phase one of the attack.
Phase two would involve Hezbollah troops. Please note that separate from Israel's plans are Iranian/Syrian plans that could invoke trouble of their own. However, Israel now bravely is considering options to address the northern missile threat.
I do not advocate a long duration ground incursion on Gaza at this time. Special forces are doing good. Small penetrations into bad areas can happen at night to take out other weaponry, then enter a truce to buy time for phase two if necessary or keep this tempo going as we await the next phase meaning the north and then phase three Iran

I see a MAJOR ground operation within 24 hours!!, barring a total capitulation from Hamas!!!

MM I see no reason to let up, put the pedal to the metal, only truce I wanna hear from this is Hamas surrendering.

Oh I advocate an invasion into Gaza, but why start the casualties until Israel achieve the real goal, destroying the axis of evil facing her from Iran. Politically, the delay could keep Egypt out of it all and Egypt will see that it is a lost cause once Israel decimates the Hezbollah and Iran is put in her place. If the goal is solely Gaza with no interest in taking on Iran, then Israel go forward and seek a resolute end with no Hamas leadership surviving.

dont' get me wrong I agree with you MM, I'm just saying Israel is in the position of strength, it should make no concessions in any negotiations. Their stand should be...surrender your leaders..put down your weapons end of story.

The real question is the following:

Why does Israel accept being bombed every and each day ?

With this acceptance, they give the following message:
Yes, beat us, we did wrong, punish us, we need to be punished, because you have the right to punish us. We are wrong and you are right.

Obama in Asia said: Normally a country does not accept being bombed every day.

Normally, you are under attack, you go to war. And in that state of war, you crush your enemy, you kill them, you go there, and you kill. You don't play nice guy anymore, you go there to exterminate the ones who needs to be exterminated.

It does not make no sense to shoot into houses, open space, trying to keep casualities down. This does not make any sense.

A state, who does not know how to defend themselves, a state, who does not know to go to war, will fail at the end.
