Netanyahu agreed to ceasefire after Obama promised US troops in Sinai next week?

Israel and Palestine are momentarily at a ceasefire, but the potential reasoning behind the recess could have some real international implications. Israel’s Debka reports that the pause in fighting comes after the US promised to send troops to Sinai.

According to Debka, US troops will soon be en route to the Sinai peninsula, Egyptian territory in North Africa that’s framed by the Suez Canal on the West and Israel on the East. In its northeast most point, Sinai is but a stone’s throw from Palestinian-controlled Gaza, and according to Debka, Hamas fighters there have been relying on Iranian arms smugglers to supply them with weaponry by way of Egypt.

I was going to post a discussion of how the Gaza ceasefire was part of a strategy of building Morsi into a statesman...

The reformed extremist club has a number of notable members. The current leadership of Brazil & Turkey come to mind...

We now see the results of pumping this Egyptian idiot up...

Here's another piece of news...

One killed as Gaza crowds surge at Israeli border fence

Hundreds of Palestinians approached the border fence Friday in several locations in southern Gaza, testing expectations Israel would no longer enforce a 300-meter-wide (300-yard-wide) no-go zone on the Palestinian side of the fence that was meant to prevent infiltrations into Israel. In the past, Israeli soldiers routinely opened fire on those who crossed into the zone.

Hello friends -

We would also be best reminded the part and position that Obama/ Administration (State Dept.) took in not only ousting Mubarak, but more importantly moving to emplace the MB into Egypt.

Not only do I not see this as accidental, but giving the latest promise of placing US Military on the border causes great concern. Their presence will be called every feel-good term in the book, and I'm sure the MSM will latch onto this with tooth and nail to proclaim the great humanitarian Obama is protecting from war.

Guarding forces on a fence viewed from our computer screens are much different than the same forces viewed from behind the fence. Are they actually there to secure the Sinai/ keep Hamas (Iran/ Syria) out, or does their tasking turn in time to house sitting the Israelis?

I don't trust Obama, I don't trust his intentions, and I don't trust any actions he directs, regardless how wrapped in well-intended deeds they may be.

I believe he has his eye on much, much more - even beyond the destruction of the US as we knew it.

Today, the palguy, who put his signature under the "truce" document, was in turkey.

The following he said:
This truce is one step on the road to liberate Jerusalem. This truce is the beginning of the palestine independance war.

I give no link. Look it up yourself. It is true.

It doesn't matter anyways, only idiots believe in truces and arab signed papers.

This shit will have a very heavy price. Welcome to the real world.

Anyone knowing or have information that american marines are gonna land in the Sinai desert to "take out smuggling roads".

Really, people, are US marines landing there next week ?
Landing where ?
Doing what ?
Fighting smuggler on egypt territory ?
Really ?
Do they know that hard core islamist elements are there in the mountains, egyptian troops tried to take them out a couple of years ago, a truce (LOL) an understanding was the outcome.

Normally, that is in my culture I know, but still:
Normally, if you go to war,

there is a winner and a looser.

Every side has its guilt, both have, but that is on an other paper. Everybody argues and has points and misses. We are all not perfect.

But, the looser, normally accepts its defeat, and the looser changes its inner functioning, to get to another stage, to see the world with other glasses, to adapt and come back to the reality.

With arabs, that is not functioning. With jews neither by the way.

The underlying problem with this, is, that there will not be a solution to this arab / israel conflict.

But I can assure all the arabs reading this, there will be a solution for you, here in europe, one day, the day it is enough, there will be a solution europe style.

After, you can complain, weep, but you will not be here anymore.

Of course, one usefull idiot, will say one day: Sorry.

WMD release in Saudi Arabia?

My thoughts, where do these new virus ALWAYS start from? Asia. But this one starts in Saudi Arabia. WMD was released, I believe, as a warning to Saudi Arabia????

snip:
A new coronavirus, similar in nature to SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), has infected six and resulted in two deaths in the Middle East, various media outlets have reported this weekend.

According to BBC News, the number of reported cases, as well as the number of fatalities linked with the respiratory ailment, doubled on Friday, as a second person was reported killed and three additional infections had been reported by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Both fatalities occurred in Saudi Arabia, and reports of the virus had been limited to that country and Qatar thus far, though one man had been transported to the UK for treatment, they added.

The WHO initially issued a global warning about the disease is September, cautioning that a Qatar man who had recently traveled to Saudi Arabia had become infected with a virus that had previously never been detected in humans, where a second man had died from the same disease, Kate Kelland of Reuters reported on Friday.

The new disease “shares some of the symptoms of SARS,” a coronavirus that surfaced in China in 2002, killing approximately 10% of the 8,000 people who contracted it worldwide, Kelland added. Among those symptoms are coughing, difficulty breathing, and high fever.

For the Israeli politic followers - What is your take on these guys? From what I understand a couple of them are from the more hawkish side of Likud.

RT @haaretzcom: Initial results of #Likud primaries show top five are Gideon Sa'ar, Gilad Erdan, Silvan Shalom, Yisrael Katz and Danny Danon

Kinda under the radar today. The BIG news is that some smart people took out the radar base in Syria that watched the Israeli Airforce. This is important cause it blinds much of Syrias ability to know when Israel si launching its planes. It too hampers Syrias military abilities against Jordan and Israel. The battle field is being leveled where it can be.

Those were Russian radars manned (I bet) by Russians..... Which missile would you use to down an Israel F15? S400 SAM. Now I'm not sure, but I would guess that the latest and greatest S400s are being "tested" at the very site. Which means, if I'm correct, a lot of dead Russians.

In looking up the numbers of Israel aircraft I found something interesting in the Wiki article: Quote:

2006 Lebanon War
The IAF played a critical role in the 2006 Lebanon War. IAF strikes – mainly, though not exclusively, in southern Lebanon – were aimed at stopping rocket launches by Hezbollah's militia targeting Israeli towns. The IAF flew more than 12,000 combat missions during this war. The most notable, taking place during the second day of the war, resulted in the IAF destroying 59 Iranian-supplied medium- and long-range missile launchers in just 34 minutes.[8] Widespread condemnation followed the July 30 IAF airstrike on a building suspected to be a militant hideout near the village of Qana, in which 28 civilians were killed. Hezbollah shot down an IAF CH-53 Yas'ur helicopter on the last day of the war, killing five crew members.[9][10] Israeli aircraft also shot down three of Hezbollah's Iranian-made[11] aerial drones during the conflict

Hmmm, who would have guessed the Iranians made drones in 2006?!

Second thought, what do you do, just walk up and blow one of these installations up? I wonder if an Israel or ?? aircraft did a bombing run or two on it. From the sounds of it, not a lot was left to put back together.

If that was the case, an interesting way to test your defenses against the Russians made equiment. LOL... I wonder if there are many pissed off Russians tonight - well at least they have vodka
