What if: there is nothing that can be done to change the outcome? What if we (America) have been playing defense the whole time? What if, the world currency is really oil and a huge navy doesn't mean crap?
Have we been playing defense and the outcome is predetermined based only on a decision tree?
If all the above is true, then we are powerless.

It's just the thought of what's to come that getting me down. If the idiot (who ever that is) gives the order to open the flood gates of WMD it's American that are going to fight and we all know what that means. I share your fears because it will be very difficult to slow things down once the snowball of WMD has started. Hope that cooler heads prevail A WMD release so close to Israel, Israel being so small can't sit on it's hands hoping that America will save it. Obama hasn't been exactly the most supportive and given his reluctance to make quick, life saving, decisions - then that will be factored into all decisions Israel makes.
