Quoting from within AC's post from the above thread-

"While Romney may not display the level of psychopathy necessary to be considered diagnosable as a psychopath, he does fit what Silver and Schouten call, “almost a psychopath.” He demonstrates a lack of empathy, no remorse or guilt for past assaults or mistreatment, a high degree of narcissism, and a capacity to ceaselessly lie and manipulate to get what he wants. If there was any doubt, his inability to stop laughing while recalling these events, when others have been harmed, proves this is a man with a highly questionable character."

Pity is he didn't have a CLUE that these people didn't have a home that wasn't under water, or a working phone. And "211" service doesn't exist in many cities across the nation, either.

The man has all the human compassion of a dead rat! In fact a rat (living) could comprehend pain and angst. But not this putz! His selfishness and self-centered character knows no bounds!

It would be interesting to see what would happened if Romney rose to the challenge and rented out a few hotels/motels for the victims out of his own pocket.

He has the money, and I bet he has the connections to get hotel/motel rooms dirt cheap.

Could you imagine the headlines if a presidential leaning person actually did something like that?

Oh well. I guess its a good thing I'm not running. I would have seen this as a prime opportunity to win tons of votes and upset the whole ticket thing.

I Don't care for Romney(don't care for bummer either)...but won't vote for Romney....now if he had done something like this, I might have changed my mind and started to pull for him....as it stands he miss a great opportunity

On the face of it, yep, that looks pretty bad. What most of the liberal media leaves out is her praise for him in the midst of it all. She obviously didn't take it as literal as the spin on it. Why would he be there only to insult flood victims? Of course she couldn't make a call from a submerged home. She would have every right to be angry if justified. Her comments don't reflect that at all.

“He said that he was going to do the best that he could for us.” Chiarello, a Republican who declined to say who she was voting for, said she was pleased Romney visited to be “supportive.”.

“He’s good, he’ll do the best for us, he has our best interests at heart,” she said of the candidate, adding that he was different than she’d expected.

“I thought he’d be more like a politician, but it was more understanding and caring,” she said. “He was caring.”.

Here you go, cognitive dissonance at its best:

Excuse me, but this is an old video....his hair is gray now. I am sure if asked that same question today he might have a better answer.

People learn and people grow....if this was current I would be more concerned....

OTOH. Mormons and most Christians are all against medical marijuana until they suffer intense pain...just saying.

Wow. Compassionate guy! *sarcasm* for the record- I don't like either candidate. We have no choice imo but telling someone to go home and call 211 is cold.

Another tard who feel like they have to run a disclaimer to make a point. "I don't like so and so but...". That why these ignorant a holes think they are moral and intelligent because intelligent people who just tell the truth are punks running disclaimers.

what do they expect? the gov to pay for the damage of their house; they know they live in unsafe and dangerous place , it is not the first that the hurricane came thru that path... not defending that clown but quit asking the gov for money... they can't shit it out of their ass even if they want it too.. taxpayers somewhere in other states have to foot the bills everytime the gov spent .
