The Quad cities are five communities near each other in Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois.

No news yet at the show. People saw something fly off the wing before he crashed. I have video of the aftermath but won't be able to upload untill I get back to my hotel

KWQC-TV has confirmed that at least one person is dead. We have also confirmed that it involved the Hopper Demo Flight Team.

For the record: The Quad Cities was originally the cities of Moline and Rock Island in Illinois and Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa - hence "quad". East Moline was added later but the area had already been widely known as the Quad Cities. It is nearly 400,000 in population just in those 5 cities alone. That does not include the dozens of surrounding cities. So, small is not exactly what I would call it; and no, we don't live in trailer courts. We live in houses like everyone else. Moline is the home of John Deere Company as well, which is widely known for their farm equipment as well as their lawn equipment. I suggest that if you have no idea about an area or its population, you should do a bit a research before you go bashing them or commenting about things you do not understand.

Now, as to the Pilot (and no we don't pronounce it piolet. It's just pilot): He was in fact killed by the crash and I highly suggest that you all have a bit more respect for his family and friends. As this is a highly populated and broadcasted event for the area, there are many who were watching from both inside the airshow and outside as well. Please have some manners regarding all involved.
