Radioactive Isotopoes like the ones used in consumer and military grade reactors usually have a half-life of at least 40 years. That means that with time it will completely decay leaving no trace of the original elements. Nature always has a way of cleaning itself up. Maybe at the cost of human life but limiting your exposure to sea water will reduce any risk of people getting any poisoning from radiation.

The world should take all its waste and put it on one way space flights into the sun..burn it up..sun wouldn't mind and get it off our planet.
