The Federal Reserve was given a 100 year charter which should be just about up. Does anyone know if it has been renewed?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14350080

Show me where in the Federal Reserve Act that the Fed was limited to 100 years?

It's a myth.

The debt is not real. It does not exist.

Did the bankers loan out gold?

No, they loaned out worthless paper that they admit (in the fed website) has ZERO value.

They insist it be "payed" back with more worthless paper....

uh, do you see the reality here?

If EVERYBODY stood up and said "we ain't payin'"

The system would collapse.

It is your own delusion that gives the worthless paper its power.

NOTHING of value was given, therefore, nothing of value need be returned.

Do you see?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22908497

See we don't really know yet if they used gold or not. In fact we won't get to know til the end of this year! After elections! After the day of doom in December doesn't come...which ironically is when some people say aliens are coming back to take it away.

So think what you will but I think it's not there, otherwise wouldn't they just tell us all is fine? And get conspiracy mongers off their back about it? Just saying is all...

That would be a good starting point for reform, but loans must be repaid or money loses all value and the entire world economic system falls to nothing.

That may sound like a good idea, to just go around bartering for goods and services, but we live in an industrialized world, it really would not end well for most people.

Money is proof of debt, it is a financial asset backed by a financial liability, held by another party. Money exists not by nature, but by law.

Gold's value is intrinsic, it has no counter party, thus it makes very poor money. It is an investment.

It's really the interest( Usury ) that is the con that the Bankers and wealthy powerful people have been using on the masses for thousands of years. They create money from thin air then loan it out at interest.

Loans create money, and as the loans are repaid money is voided, but the interest the wealthy keep for themselves and the friends of the Banks.

There is no need for the interest, they only charge them because they can, they are not loaning you someone else's money, they are creating the money when they make the loan.

OK...so the system collapses. All those who've saved and invested their wealth suddenly lose it, right?

It may be "worthless paper" to you, but to someone with hundreds or even tens of thousands saved and invested, it's their future.

K, doing some quick reading here, I have learned that in 1933 the United States incorporated went into bankruptcy from which it has, uh, never recovered; to the, uh, gulp, International Banking Cartel ....

Oh no! Don't say it's all true? I can't read anymore!

Really...well not without destroying 25 Trillion in wealth around the world, after all Treasury Bonds are the instruments of our debt, and every bank in the country is holding their reserves in Treasuries, so not only do you destroy the reserves of every single bank in this country, you cause these banks to become insolvent, thereby destroying the accounts and savings of every single American...

Not to mention what you do to our currency...

So sure, go ahead and repudiate the debt, see how that works out for you...

United States Government borrows on the credit of United States. So it's the States that are liable for the debt.

States can not declare bankruptcy.

It's better to just take back the money powers from the Fed( Private Banks ) and issue USD directly from the US Treasury like Lincoln did with the Greenback during the Civil War.

Pay our existing Bond debt down with that.

It's going to make some inflation, but we can do it over time. It's better we eat the inflation now than pass a debt on to our children and grandchildren that they did not spend.

By Real Money you mean gold and silver? It's been confiscated before in the USA. Anything of "Real Value" can be taxed to the point of worthlessness or even liability. The banksters have been able to print and keep as much as they wanted for a century in the US. That is why they own or control everything worth owning or controlling, and the rest they tax. Any nation going against them will find itself in a war, which it will lose. Any politician that really causes them problems will be killed or severely punished.
They've got all the bases covered. Nothing short of the Second coming or a global disaster of biblical proportions will ever unseat them as Earth's controllers. They're smarter than us, and they have an unquenchable desire for complete control. Look at the quote below to understand what they intend:
In his book, "Between Two Ages," Brzezinski wrote: "The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values."

Honor, truthfulness, fidelity, family, justice--these mean nothing to them.

The famous economist Joe Neubarth says that there is no termination date on the Fed Charter. It is impossible for the Fed to default on its debt. Since the US can borrow from the Fed at zero interest, Guess what? That is right, it is impossible for the US to ever default on its debt either.

We effectively own the world and are paying the Fed Zero Interest for that right. The US Fed is the greatest thing the world has ever seen.
