many see this as a real possibility
there are people on those boards who are close to paul and the campaign

the fact that he can waiver on this
he did this before the 2008 campaigns
he wasn't going to run
he was talked into running by supporters for the 2008 election

we can do it again!
he upfront said no in 2008 to an independent run
now sources are saying he's gauging grassroots support

The best tHing he could do is to run vp on the gary ticket, because gary has great leadership skills and ron paul has the best ideas.plus gary is already on the ballot.

This would be great if not for the small fact that the people don't actually vote in a president. It's all just a game. Don't you get that yet? If he does run, it's. Its not because he wants to win or thinks he can. It's to help solidify the sides. This country isn't left Or right anymore. Paul supporters are the third factor. It's not about starting a third party. Again, it doesn't really work that way. It's just for show.
If he does this, it's for one reason only. To put a lable on the organization that will eventually lead to disrupting the current power structure. Take that how you will.

Third parties hurt the ones they most closely resemble, so a vote for Ron Paul (God love him and I hope the RNC picks up more of his platform, already talking about returning to the gold standard) is unfortunately a vote for Obumbler.

Completely agree. Guess my point was just to say that this can't turn out the way I fear some people would hope.

It doesn't go, I woke up, I see the truth, the world is corrupt and we're controlled by globalist bankers, let's vote Ron Paul, we are strong and our numbers are great, Paul will win, the world will be a happier place. All through the power of spreading the truth and staying non violent.

Instead, it goes, Ron Paul is putting his foot down, the globalist are getting angry, they increase their efforts, the third party resists, riots break out, ML is declared, civil war breaks out, foreign UN troops come in... People die. Lots and lots of people die.

I'm afraid that the foundation is weak from being built on those that believe they're awake. When push comes to shove, many will fold. Peaceful protesters are not the type needed to support a change like the one many are calling for.

I think it would be best for him to jump on with Gary, I am an avid Ron Paul supporter, but we would cease to hear the "Crazy Uncle Ron" and "dirty diaper" jokes cause Johnson is still younger and has a more energized look to him.. This would appeal to more of the shallow folks, unfortunately we need all the votes we can get
