I was watching an episode of Storge Wars, seemed like a conspiracy theme
I don't have t.v.
I don't know the episode name or date it aired
I realize it's not totally real, more like kindof true-to-life, that there really is such a thing as storage auctions.
I just like it because I'm cheap, lazy, a snoop, and I always wish I could find usefull stuff that was worth money, and sell it for profit, so it's entertaining.
I started watching it because when I'm upstairs cooking, I need to keep an eye on the stove, and there is nothing much else to do.

So, anyway, without going into too much detail or agressively reviewing it, this is what I remember from the episode, and I kind-of clued in only after watching it a second time while falling asleep, at someones house a couple days ago

Barry finds gas masks and giger counters, and a big camoflage backpack. He takes them to a guy that builds doomsday bunkers. He talks about zombie apocalypse, doomsday, and makes jokes about survivalists and the end of the World.

Jarrod and Brandy find a chinese bone plated globe. It's a primitive type of seismograph that was used to detect earthquakes and their direction. Obviously for all the earthquake predictions.

Hester finds a ouiji Board. obvious reference to occult, supernatural sutff. When he finds a person to appraise it, they play ouiji and he asks the board "Is Darrel a moron?" and it says 'yes.'

Darrel dosen't get a locker, and punches a door when hes leaving saying "This is bullshit!" not sure if thats in this episode or not, but it makes sense because hes always going for the hunting/fishing lockers, and he's probably a doomtard, and wanted all that stuff the other people found.

And the end of the show Barry jokes about an end of the world where it's is a Dave Hester apocalypse and a world full of Dave Hesters. Then it cuts to Hester and he puts his face up to the camera and his eyes glow red like he's an alien or zombie or something.

so obviously its pretty much a set up for a conspiracy theme tribute in my opinion, because thats a little bit too coincidental for all having been found in one auction and all in the same episode.

Damn it!! I knew not paying my storage would come to a bad end!
Dig deeper for the end is nigh.

On second thought, fuck digging, just find a sink hole!!!

All of these shows are not real.
Totally scripted and planned.

I have always felt they were pseudo type of actors, real people , chosen because of their personalities and given a basic script.

I put American preppers in the same category, because to me a real prepper would not divulge their plans

That's a common claim, I was just trying to highlight the fact, and add a little substance that demonstrates the deception as not actually being a real live event, by showing how it had a theme that wouldn't actually be possible if it was just people going about their business instead of acting.

I've never seen that show. But it makes sense. Sounds like they are trying to expose peoples shortcomings when they make a survival plan.

Like the way mantracker couldn't possibly be real at all, and makes you reconsider trying to run off into the bush.
Maybe in the past it would work, but under authoritarian rule, with ariel recon, infrared nightvision, body heat detection, and implanted rfid chips giving away your location, you wouldn't stand a chance, if you went rambo, and a drone would mop you really easily, unless there was thousands of people running around in the wilderness, fighting, it would still be a matter of chance that you got bombed by a government or invading force, unless you we're a fricken ninja, and had tens of thousands of dollars of high tec gear and weapons.

LOVE that show. I watch it on Netflix.

They have those around the U.S. but most of the storage unit owners will take a bunch of junk put it all into one locker & then have them bid it up.

I've looked into & have decided against investing in that kind of stuff.

One was on a few days ago and one of them found a locker full of 3.2 GB hard drives... and they said he made 16,200 off them. Which is bullshit considering their running price is under $20 (if you can get anyone to buy a hard drive smaller than a small SD card!) and not the $150 he said he got.

Re: I was watching an episode of Storge Wars, seemed like a conspiracy theme
If I had valuable items in a storage unit that let's say I could get $5000-7500 for do you really think I would leave it in there and not pay the fee to get it out??

The shows is bs, who in there right mind would leave thousands worth of collectables to be auctioned off when they could beg, borrow, steal the money to pay to get it out, then sell the stuff off and have all the profit??

So silly really
