Incredible illusion: two pretty famous celebrities equals amazing grotesque ugliness

I've tried several times, I'm looking at the cross at the center only, but my peripheral vision still sees the faces as normal, I can recognize most of them without looking directly at them. Only thing mentionable is that I notice the eyebrows more than the rest of the face.

What's wrong with me, is it my eyes or my brain?

Or should I be thankful I don't see what the rest of you see?

Try sit a bit closer to the screen then and always keep your eyes focused in the center, dont move eyes around.

Wonder if you get the reverse effect if you look at people that already DO look horrible ?
