No, it doesn't work because some people just want to sit back and reap the rewards of other people's work. Say you work really hard so that your kids won't go hungry, and your neighbor doesn't work as hard as you, should you have to take food out of your kids mouths, so he can eat.

people aren't going to create something just so everybody can use it. they want recognition, they want profit, they want something that will make there's and their families life better. if capitalism is so crappy why has AMERICA created more technology and more wonderful things in the last 200 years than all the other countries combined? it's only been since China has made it to move toward capitalism that they have started been more creative.

People need to be creative, they need freedom to be happy. socialism and Marxism tried to discourage being creative because if somebody is different they don't like that. how do you think they look at disabled in Marxism they can't pull their weight so they are destroyed.


is suicide rate in socialist countries is astronomical. because you're stifled because you are all supposed to fit in the same size square. It's in our DNA to share the fruits of our labors with each other. not to keep only for ourselves. that is Darwinian survival of the fittest. It is not competition that is the only thing keeping us alive. Cooperation plays a huge role and Loving each other and feeling empathetic for others is what causes us to survive. We see it in all animals where they cooperate and share to get by in the world.

I'm not sure how Darwin's theories got twisted and shows only the competitive side of animals as natural. My guess is the powers that be who control this world twisted Darwin's theories around to convince us that those who work harder will be better off.. fueling the machine that keeps them in power. If you take the time to actually read Darwin's theories he talks about love and compassion that drives us to survive. Look at aboriginal human tribes untainted by the powers that be and you see that people who go out and hunt for food, come back and feed everyone in the tribe, including the weak, sick, young and old.

We don't need to go 'forward' like Obama says. We really need to go 'backward' to get back to our social way of live and sharing with each other. we can't force this upon people through 'socialism' or 'capitalism', etc. All of these 'isms' just promote keeping people in power at the top of the power pyramid. what we can do is change people's current beliefs that they need to be better than others and change them to believing that we are all equal, by going back to our natural state of loving all living creatures. Love is what will set us free.

Obama doesn't want to be reelected. I figured "forward" was a slap in the face to everyone who wanted to see Bush prosecuted - people who would be working his phone banks and running his reelection campaign. His reply to Stephanopoulos when asked about prosecuting Bush: "my orientation's going to be to move forward."
