Question to non-Untied States citizens about the 2000 US Election
I've always been curious to hear an outsider's point of view about USA's 2000 Presidential Election.
George Bush won the most electoral points and won him the Presidency. And Al Gore won the individual votes - which won him pretty much nothing. After a long legal battle everything was, pretty much, decided by the Supreme Court.
- Did your media cover it with such intensity, as they did here? If so, how? - Did your leader give their opinion on the matter? - Did you understand/agree with the electoral college process that we use? - Finally, in your opinion did the whole ordeal make the US look stupid?
