Temple In Israel

The Christians say that the Anti Christ will build the third temple while the Jewish people say that their Messiah will build the third temple. (Beit Hamikdash) See the complication here?

What kind of answer is this? If you want us to participate in your threads post scripture and a real answer. Do not mock or you can have a one sided conversation with the mirror.

I read where the Temple is in prefab form and ready to be put up in a matter of days. The instruments have been made, the incense has been put together, the only thing they were waiting for was the ashes of the red heifer. Also the priestly garments have been readied as well as children have been taught the holy things over the years so they will be able to serve. The line of LEVI priest are ready. Come LORD JESUS! We are all looking for you.

OK. I'm back. Paul speaks of the antichrist sitting on the throne as God in the temple of God. This is indicated in several scriptures. Here are two of them :

"He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God." - 2 Thessalonians 2:4

"The day is coming when you will see what Daniel the prophet spoke about--the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing in the Holy Place." - Matthew 24:15

Here is a scripture that talks about Jesus' returning to the temple. This is clearly talking about his second coming, and not the time he previously was on Earth. This indicates that He will finally take His place on the throne of the rebuilt temple, and it will then be holy and righteous.

“I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the Lord Almighty. But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner’s fire or a launderer’s soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness, 4 and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the Lord, as in days gone by, as in former years". - Malachi 3, 1-2

Moshiach is Hebrew for Messiah. Moshiach means the “the anointed one" in Hebrew. And it is a core belief in Judaism, but seldom learned by Christians of the West. Those that have faith in Moshiach feel it as strongly as Christians have faith in Jesus. The jewish people do not believe Jesus was the Messiah, rather they see the future Savior of Mankind as a great teacher, King and Soldier of Righteousness, "Tzedek" that influences our lives directly, making abudance touch wherever he touches and blessings to shower our material world and build his temple "Beit HaMikdash" We do not have to wait to out death to ever have hope of seeing Moshiach, Moshiach will not appear to us after we pass this earthly time, He is to come while humanity is alive and calling out !

"Tikkun Olam" is the healing of the world in the world to come, "Olam Habah"

You do not have to be a Jew to let Moshiach bless your life, cause he will free mankind into a state of bliss knowing their creator G-d who cannot have a name, He is the infallible one, the one whose name. (HaShem) is beyond our limited understand, but we may draw close to him none the less. He does not cast souls into hell. forbid the study of stars, nor say this earth is beyond redemption, G-d wants us to be happy now ! And enjoy the fruitages of earth now !

Here is the Belief number 12 of the Mainmonides Thirteen Principles of Faith That speaks of Moshiach

Principle XII. The era of the Messiah

And this is to believe that in truth that he will come and that you should be waiting for him even though he delays in coming. And you should not calculate times for him to come, or to look in the verses of Tanach to see when he should come. The sages say: The wisdom of those who calculate times [of his coming] is small and that you should believe that he will be greater and more honored than all of the kings of Israel since the beginning of time as it is prophesied by all the prophets from Moses our teacher, peace be upon him, until Malachi, peace be upon him. And he who doubts or diminishes the greatness of the Messiah is a denier in all the Torah for it testifies to the Messiah explicitly in the portion of Bilam and the portion of “You are gathered (towards the end of Deut)”. And part of this principle that there is no king of Israel except from the house of David and from the seed of Solomon alone. And anyone who disputes this regarding this family is a denier of the name of God and in all the words of the prophets.

Heaven is here on earth, The Tanach describes the temple.in II Chronicles.

3:3- "The length by cubits after the ancient measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits".
3:4- "And the porch that was before the house, the length of it, according to the breadth of the house, was twenty cubits, and the height a hundred and twenty; and he overlaid it within with pure gold."

And likewise , we shall have beautiful sound homes and dwelling places and food and peace when the Moshiach touches our lives and blesses us with the bounty. God did not want us to lack in anything .

Please look at the scripture references above. I care about everyone on this thread, and I hope that you will see Jesus is the Savior, and that God's word is true. The verse I referenced above discusses how Jesus will one day (soon in my opinion) reign in the reubilt temple. Please, know Him. He will return in the twinkling of an eye, and it will be too late.

I'm jewish myself and according to the bible the Moshiach will build the Millenium Temple, not the third Temple. What worries me is the fact evangelical christians support the third Temple eventhough they know it goes against God's will.

That's a good point. Regardless of whether there is a destruction of the old temple, a modification, or a new temple in a new location, I think it could still generally be considered "the third temple". It will be a new start. Here is an article that I thought was interesting.

Most people believe a new Jewish Temple would require destruction of the Dome of the Rock. What does the Bible say?

According to Prophecies in Daniel 9:27, Matt 24:15 and 2 Thes 2:4, a Temple will exist in Israel at the beginning of the Great Tribulation. This is confirmed by Revelation 11:1 which describes John measuring a Temple during the Tribulation. Its location is the “Holy City.” Chapter 11 also introduces the 2 witnesses who preach in the “Great City” and are ultimately killed there, their bodies left lying in the street. The Great City is identified as the place where the Lord was crucified: Jerusalem. But is Jerusalem also the Holy City?



According to Zechariah 14:6-9 on the day of the Lord’s return an earthquake will split the Mt. of Olives in two along an East-West line that creates a great valley through the center of Jerusalem. Immediately a river will fill the valley creating a waterway from the Mediterranean to the Dead Sea. If the Lord returns to the same area of the Mt. of Olives from which He left, as suggested by Acts 1:11, the earthquake creating this East-West valley will destroy the current Temple mount and anything that may be standing upon it.



Ezekiel 47:1-12 describes a great river flowing from under the south side of the Temple and then eastward to the Dead Sea during a period of time that most scholars believe has not occurred yet. Revelation 22:1-2 confirms this. If as it appears, Ezekiel, Zechariah, and Revelation all describe the same river, then an interesting scenario begins to emerge.



This scenario requires a Temple to be present on the day the Lord returns, but since the current Temple mount will have been destroyed by the earthquake mentioned above, this Temple must be somewhere else. Since the river originates under the Temple and flows from its south side before heading East and West, the Temple must be north of the newly created river valley.






Where Are The 12 Tribes?



Plotting the land grants for the 12 tribes given in the 48th chapter of Ezekiel on a map of Israel places the precincts of the Holy City somewhat north of the current City of Jerusalem. This new location is the ancient City of Shiloh, where the Tabernacle stood for nearly 400 years after the Israelites first conquered the Land. This is the Holy City and its name is Jehovah Shammah according to the last verse in Ezekiel. The Hebrew translates as “the LORD is here.”



If accurate, this location would meet all the requirements for the Temple mentioned in the above references. The current Temple Mount in Jerusalem would not.



According to Ezekiel 44:6-9, this Temple will have been defiled in a way never seen in history, therefore at a time yet future to us. A foreigner un-circumsized in heart (neither Christian) and flesh (nor Jewish) will have been given charge of the sanctuary while offering sacrifices. If we understand the chronology of Ezekiel, this event will have taken place after both the 1948 re-gathering prophesied in 36-37 and the national wake-up call prophesied in 38-39 but before the Millennial Kingdom begins. The only event we know of that fits that chronology is the Great Tribulation. This is confirmed by Paul’s prophecy of 2 Thes. 2:4 where the anti christ sets himself up in the Temple proclaiming himself to be god.



Here then is a rough outline of events. Following Israel’s return to God after the battle of Ezekiel 38-39, the Jewish people will re-establish their covenant (old not new) with Him. This will require a return to Levitical practices and so a Temple will be built. This is the Temple spoken of by Daniel and Revelation. Following instructions given by Ezekiel and needing to avoid the enormous problems a Jerusalem Temple would create in the Moslem world, this Temple will be located north of Jerusalem in Shiloh. It will be defiled in the middle of the last 7 years as outlined in Daniel 9:24-27, Ezekiel 44:6-9, Matt 24:15 and 2 Thes 2:4 kicking off the Great Tribulation, but will be cleansed by living water that begins flowing on the day the Lord returns (Zech 14:8). This temple will be used during the Millennium to memorialize the Lord’s work at the cross and provide the perspective for children born during the Kingdom Age to choose salvation just as you and I have had the perspective of the Lord’s Supper in making our choice. Remember, He said, “Do this in memory of Me until I come.” Acts 15:14-16 confirms that after the Lord has chosen a people from among the gentiles for Himself (the church) He will return and re-build David’s fallen Tabernacle (the Temple). This is the Millennial Temple so vividly described in Ezekiel 40-48.

Well, that is what I meant. And we have to be ready, it could be any day now.

Neither of these state that the temple must be a brick and mortar temple. The beast or anti-christ could just be the devil incarnate like the holy spirit is manifest in Christ. Standing in the Holy Place could be nothing more then the man of sin standing on the temple mount or in the body of a man.

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you and which ye have from God, and that ye are not your own?

19 Jesus answered and said unto them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

21 But He spoke of the temple of His body.

Why does God need a 3rd temple when he already has one. It started with Christ and also he will manifest himself into the whole body of Christ.

Luke 3:21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized. And while He prayed the heaven was opened,

Luke 3:22 and the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from Heaven, which said, “Thou Art My Beloved Son; In Thee I Am Well Pleased.”

You will also notice in Revelation there is no temple in New Jerusalem

Revelation 21:22 And I saw no temple therein, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

It is not Prince William. Moshiach is hidden behind the lattice, This is Jewish teaching. He is hiding now , testing out the word of his Father. He grows up away from his roots and is called, like Moses to help his people..

I think the 3rd temple will literally be in Jerusalem, as blasphemous and weird as that Brazilian temple is. It is Jerusalem that matters.

You know nothing about Judaism, The Moshiach restores Tikkun, which is the Tikkun Olam of the Olam Habah..
It is total healing in the world to come.

He is redeemed from the shards of the kellipot, the entrapped light, cause he is found to be Tzedek.

He comes back to restore law and Torah and if that means resuming the sacrifices, it will show that peoples hearts had turned away from the law and that we need Torah again to be set straight...

Not sure that a formal temple is required.


For some reason, Israel will start up the daily sacrifice again. They could throw up a tent/tabernacle very quickly.....like in the days of old.


Then the abomination of desolation has to be set up. This will mark the mid-point of Daniel's 70th week.

I never claimed to know Judaism,but i know Christ,and i believe in him and his words,the Holy Bible King James Edition.I also know who he calls the synagogue of Satan.My faith can not be broken,God resides in my temple,and so does his words.I agree there will be healing in the world,but destruction comes first,in order for the Earth to be cleansed from vile wickedness and evil.

The King James Version comes from the Tyndale version which comes from the Erasmus version, all the way back to Constantine and the Council of Nicaea. They decided which scrolls to keep and which to add and which to discard, And they discarded many. The NT was then confirmed by the Synod of Carthage..

Satan is another one of Gods angels on duty, He was made into the Bogey man for the sole purpose to go after innocent country women out picking herbs and branding them as witches. Judaism does not believe in such a silly , evil concept.. They believe in personal responsibility.

Revelation 11:2 But the court which is outside the temple, leave out, and measure it not, for it is given unto the Gentiles; and the Holy City shall they tread under foot for forty and two months.

John is not measuring the physical temple here. This is a construction survey for the foundation of the temple. When you start a building you always perform a survey before you actually start to build. The temple and the city do not come until Revelation 21.
