I have already pegged Oct 10-11-12 as a quake watch period.

The October 9th quake is not a hit for current window.
My window are not 3 days on either side.
Current target date is Oct 11th.
Window is one day either side.
So window is Oct 10-11-12.
There is 42% chance of a significant quake over 3 days.
But I usually get a hit over 80% of the time.
Still working to improve my hit ratio.
And always taking into account probabilities.
October 17 target date is Oct 16-17-18 window.
October 28 target date is Oct 27-28-29 window.
Quakes hitting from Oct 19-20-21-22-23-24-25-26 would not count.
I do target many dates, but only those with indicators.
Why do I get so many indicators?
Because significant quakes happen all the time, about once a week.
Just trying to make the connection and more consistently pick the right part of the week... and at some point find correlations which can also pinpoint magnitude and location.
