Adding things to others visions is dishonest. Will that prophecy happen? I don't know! I believe it will, but don't know when. I don't like the sound of a tsunami anymore then the next person, in fact it stresses me out! But, judgement is coming to the earth, God said so. Anyone who disagrees with that is disagreeing with God Himself. WOE to that person.

Judgment IS coming! It's coming soon because of the evil that is running rampant in the earth and the increase of sin and no repentance!

its the DAY and the HOUR, as well as any open ended prophecy that either contradicts the Word or doesn't come true.

as far as chuck youngbrandt goes, he made a few prophecies that haven't come true and they are documented. One was in the late 70's and the other around 2005 in which he gave a time line of two events that were to pass simultaneously within three years and a year respectively.

i will try and find the articles penned from youngbrandt himself. just got home so it might take me a bit.

off the top of my head it had something to do with a hurricane and then 4 failed missile attacks on US, and something else, i forget now but will look it up.

But Lisa doesn't it make you scratch your head to think that 'God' would give someone a warning of a specific event with no reference for the time in which it would occur? What good is a warning without the ability to reference the time in which it will occur? To me it would be analogous to someone warning you that Yellowstone is going to erupt, sometime. We know that's going to happen but can't prepare for such an event without any reference as to when. It's not a functional message whatsoever. And the person who spreads that message to others is creating an environment of fear. It may be well-intentioned but an incomplete message is of no practical use to those who view it.

I do agree with you however that great change is afoot, although we might disagree with the mechanism behind that change, it doesn't make a difference because the end result is all the same.

These prophets are speaking about the coming judgement of God. How is that contradicting the Word? Maybe you and I are reading a different Bible because mine says that judgement is coming and going to destroy the wicked and the earth, and that's what Jesus said too.

The wrath of God is coming! All who say it's not are in fact the real deceivers and the real false prophets because they tell people that there is no problem, there is no hell, there is no wrath, these aren't the end times, no such thing as sin, God won't hold anyone accountable, no punishment, and everything is fine and dandy. Peace and security.

Those are the people you should spend your time preaching against, not the messengers of God that call for repentance and holiness.

This is actually a play on words in the Greek which will not translate accurately into English. The closest I can come is: "Faith without works doesn't work."

Personally, I gain much understanding from "Faith that is not expressed in something [works] is a faith that is unresponsive to God [dead]."

And the opposite is true, too:

Works with out faith is equally dead, equally unresponsive to God.

natural ability, no. utilizing the gifts God gave them in specific capacities for the early church formation, yes.

people lack understanding on what it meant to form the early church. and, people don't understand the significance of the completion of it AND of scripture. it all has meaning, significance, importance, purpose.

Stan Johnson is the founder and director of The Prophecy Club, a radio program and speakers bureau which he claims is dedicated to providing "information and products with a prophetic warning message to win souls to Jesus, and call people to repentance" Only a brief listen to the Prophecy Club warnings will confirm they do offer a great many products. As for preaching the gospel to the lost, well, not so much.

Johnsons Prophecy Club almost went under after Y2K failed to produce the collapse of America that Johnson had been predicting for years. From about 1997 Johnson hosted a seemingly unending stream of false prophets and doomsayers claiming that the end was nigh and Y2K would be the catalyst for everything from a stock market collapse, a nuclear attack on America, and even Armageddon itself. So sure was he of impending doom that Johnson helpfully allowed his listeners to purchase Y2K survival supplies directly from the Prophecy Club. Supplies by the way which he was buying from a well known online survival gear company. All Johnson did was mark up the products and offer them to his listeners at inflated prices in order to line his own pockets.

When the dreaded date passed without causing so much as a dead flashlight battery, many listeners abandoned the Prophecy Club, rightly concluding that Johnson was a false prophet and a promoter of false prophets.

Demons can whispher in your ear.....in a very nice way.

People assume that they are special.....and that these messages are coming from God.


And they do not want to insult God......by thinking that the special messages are not from Him.


Once you depart from the Scriptures which God has given us........it is very easy to be tossed about.......and distracted into areas that interfere with your growth.....and things which can even bring offense to the cross.


Just one error......and it is not coming from God. You are a false prophet. The punishment for this during the time of the Old Covenant was very severe.


Christ Himself gave the Revelation for the church.....a glimpse into end time events. He is not the author of confusion. He will help you to understand it.... if you ask Him.


It begins with several chapters of very stern warnings to the church.......so take note.

There is no such thing as faith without works.

However,

There is a such thing as no faith, and therefore no works.

Where there is one whom surrenders completely to faith, works always follow.

The Prophecy Club has had problems since the beginning with their long and distinguished list of false prophets with failed prophecies. not to mention their money grubbing and false doctrine that's going on.
