Re: Dark Matter Mystery - Closer to Being Solved?
The physical sciences went down the shitter around the end of the 19th century, when Maxwell was conveniently removed from the scene, the traitor Oliver Heaviside re-wrote and greatly simplified Maxwell's quaternion equations, and Einstein rose to prominence.

It's been maths and "thought experiments", ever since.

Hopefully, the EU/PU contingent will begin to set things right.

Would you concur that stand alone static magnetic potentials in space exist only as manifested by moving charged matter?
 Quoting: scimitar

Close, but were getting into semantics.

I would have said moving charged mass as matter denotes 'particles'.

But, if I did not feel like people always try to 'trick' me with questions, I would concur wholeheartedly.

Kind of.

If there were a 'space' where stand alone static magnetic potential, there would be no material dimensionality, therefor no 'space' as we know it in the material.

It is interesting to note that dark matter is now being related to magnetic fields. (as it should, IMO)

Have you actually read Heaviside? He did not agree with relativity at all when it was just gaining prominence. Heaviside simplified Maxwell's equations with his operational calculus and developed the telegraphers equation, which the telecommunications industry would be nothing without. Heaviside's work deals with cross-product relations, so its relevant to transverse electromagnetism only, not relevant to the longitudinal work of Nikola Tesla.

but but, isn't plasma liquified/ionized electricity?? Just another state of the same 'principle'...(the (7) subdivisions of Fohat, which is itself is a state of/an emanation of the ultimate source)...(and that source is an emanation/subdivision of... Jacob's Ladder, anyone?)

doesn't quite make sense to me.

mass could denote photonic apparent mass, but if one considers all matter to be composed of captive photons then there is really no difference between matter and mass.

Do you think EM potentials are just distortions of space (twist and stretch)?

If there is EM potentials, and they are not yet in motion, then we...

oh, wait. I see what you are getting at.

OK, I agree completely with the mass/matter stuff above.

And, you are thinking that the EM potentials are dark matter? That is a beautiful thought in my opinion! I could definitely see how that could be possible.

I was thinking that if something was not in motion, then there would be no dimensionality to it, which may be slightly wrong. That's something to think on. You are saying that EM potentials create distortions in space even though they do not have movement?

Dark matter... BS science. If there were so much "dark matter" spread all over the universe, we wouldn't be able to see the stars at night. Especially the ones that are "claimed" to be 15 billion light years away. If there was even one particle of dust per square mile of space, it would be like trying to look through a snowstorm. Science wrapped in religion! Complete BS!

I was thinking about this some tonight...the EU/PU contingent can't win...if they find arguments proving either electricity or plasma is what holds it all together the 'scientists' will just hold a press conferee to say they "discovered that 'gravity' has electrical/magnetic properties"

Everyone will ohhh and ahhh and nobody will remember the EU/PU blokes.

I am all over the place, lol.

I am doing fine. Though it is raining out, been having a busy day, and I've been lurking on GLP a little. Probably why I'm all over the place.

Now, I've got to go drop kids off at friends and go eat something.

My appetite for anything has become non-existant.

How are you?

Thread: Plato
What is this dark matters opposite Mr. Green? Nothing that manifests in the physical plane comes for null and void. What is DM's spiritual plane counter-part? Hmm??
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22876662

The bold confuses me. Did you mean 'comes FROM null and void'? Or, comes forth?

This is a good mind exercise, lol.

In the spiritual plane, it would be akin to Plato's Forms, I imagine.

I'm doing a little research on PLATO.

...Plato later began to develop his own philosophy and the Socrates of the later dialogues does more teaching than he does questioning. The fundamental aspect of Plato's thought is the theory of "ideas" or "forms." Plato, like so many other Greek philosphers, was stymied by the question of change in the physical world. Heraclitus had said that there is nothing certain or stable except the fact that things change, and Parmenides and the Eleatic philosophers claimed that all change, motion, and time was an illusion. Where was the truth? How can these two opposite positions be reconciled? Plato ingeniously combined the two; a discussion of Plato's theory of forms is below.
[link to www.wsu.edu:8080]
 Quoting: Swinging on Spirals

Theory of Forms
Main article: Theory of Forms

The Theory of Forms (Greek) typically refers to the belief expressed by Socrates in some of Plato's dialogues, that the material world as it seems to us is not the real world, but only an image or copy of the real world. Socrates spoke of forms in formulating a solution to the problem of universals. The forms, according to Socrates, are roughly speaking archetypes or abstract representations of the many types of things, and properties we feel and see around us, that can only be perceived by reason (Greek:); (that is, they are universals). In other words, Socrates sometimes seems to recognise two worlds: the apparent world, which constantly changes, and an unchanging and unseen world of forms, which may be a cause of what is apparent.

Wonderful stuff!!

This is what my understanding is based on.

The Illuminati are very much into the classics, Pythagoras was the founder, Hypatia was a Grand Master (no sexism in the Illuminati)

Even the modern day philosophers; Neitsche, Descartes, & of course Leibniz
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23223476

so if the "illuminati" is not sexist...then what exactly would you call what happened to Hypatia...anyways i agree...a Grand Master indeed...

sorry to digress from the content of this thread, just had to defend...

this is an excellent thread...let me go back to following in the shadows...
