While I'll admit that I''m not fully on board with the whole illuminati thing, I do have to admit it's very strange that he is the coroner who signed off on the autopsies of those deceased celebrities, being how there were questions around all their deaths.

He's the head of the coroner's office. The head signs off on EVERY death that comes through the LA County Coroner's Office. That's his whole job.

Yes, I've not heard the term "coroner's chief" used in the US. In many US States, the coroner is an elected county position. He may assist LEOs in certain death investigations, and usually refers uncertain cases to the State Crime Labs for autopsy. Certainly the State Crime labs would have credentialing for their forensic personnel.

One thing is for sure: Elected positions in public services are the easiest way of get along with corruption schemes! We have a term to this in Brazil, "coat-hanger jobs" and this kind of employee is always armored with political protection.

I'm still intriguing by the fact that Harvey has a backup in forensics, what puts him closer to the NY cop Craig D. Harvey. I also find absolutely curious the fact that this NY cop has no pictures on the internet whatsoever, even though he was involved in a huge scandal in 1993.

Michael Clark Duncan didn't fake his death! He was admitted to a hospital for 3 or 4 weeks after his heart attack! What's the point of faking a heart attack and stay on the radar??

A Medical Degree is not required for a Coroner. In some jurisdiction the Coroner is also the Medical Examiner then a Medical Degree is required.
