now, why would two normally reputable sites not report after shocks yet the media are?

why would a power outtage matter on earthquake sites???

Ovsicori u mentioned before pal, is an OK site ???

The Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica, Universidad Nacional (OVSICORI-A), is a research institute dedicated to research University of volcanoes, earthquakes and other tectonic processes, in order to find useful applications that help society to mitigate the adverse effects of these phenomena to economic and social development. This is an observatory, because a considerable amount of effort is aimed at documenting the seismic activity, volcanic and crustal deformation which, in turn, feeds back to the own research activities of a university research institute.

The information is real. Lot of aftershocks already.

Sorry, Irish friend, the Dutch friend reported it...

so, it seems OK !!! So, if their's aftershocks are real, things are going better...hope so...

Usgs and Euros seismos will need to update themselves soon... or become completely incapable of informing us in a certain amount of time!

weird! and my phone app reports smaller quakes elsewhere in the world, but not these aftershocks?

im sure its kosher n all but cant figure why these aftershocks are not being noted elsewhere

weid as shit, that Costa Rican site seems to be the only one, now for my money Id trust EMSC and RSOE a lot more.

But hey maybe OVSICORI or whatever its calls no better.

That they are not concrete sources... downgrading is one thing, but completely not even putting them up is outrageous. Or is it?

I don't have an idea why the other sources are not posting the info. Maybe they are not receiving it accordingly, but you can't discredit the official report of Costa Rica's institute.

Its true, sometimes navigating through all the fear porn and doom to get some real info is tiring and we sholud not underestimate the chance we have to help maybe few people.

The link only shows foreshocks, nothing after the 7.7.

Not saying doom is ahead, but there really are NO sites posting aftershocks, meaning AFTER the 7.6 or whatever it was.

Its got me stumped. But also, there has to be something going on...
They may be late but to post NO information is like trying to keep us in the dark?
Like saying "dont trust us or depend on us, we will fail you." Just saying...
