Tim Tebow's father is a big fat anti-Catholic. Tim and his
father do much harm preaching John 3:16 saves you or saying a one time sinner's prayer saves you. It takes more than belief in Jesus to be justified.

Agree on Obama, BHO. I think the Tebow family will convert
at the time of the Great Warning. Tim's father is in a good place, a Catholic country, the Philippines.

Your first words are important, "faith alone" does not save, you must act, repentance, confessing your sins is an action, a "work." Justification is life long. We are all sinners, the reason Our Lord established Confession (John 20:23).

Imagine, finally, we are living in a time, when Christians,
Protestant, Orthodox and Catholics will come to believe
the same because God is going reveal the Truth. He has always had one plan. Non-Christians will come to belief.

Hey, I read TW's thread, can't post but I shall pray
for your healing. We read how painful Shingles is, I felt
some Gout, I think that's what it was recently.

To lift your spirits, any suffering, cross one has, you can unite with Our Lord's suffering, offer it to Him in prayer and He can use it to save souls! Imagine, how wonderful. There are many verses about "redemptive suffering" in the Gospel. I think of Paul's words about making up for the suffering of Christ. That is what he means. And you know, Paul had a cross that waasn't taken away.

St. Francis, whose Feat Day is Thursday, was walking with
a fellow brother evangelizing and discussing the meaning
of "joy." What is true joy? The brother would give example
and St. Francis would say..."nah." They came across a disbeliever, he actually shoved them both in the mud. Down
but not out, Francis turned to the brother and said..."this is joy."

I am with you, my dear husband is a practicing Catholic
but Mr. liberal, all for Obama. He does not believe in
the messages from Heaven either so I pray.
