I was given a gift today. It was mysterious and wrapped up like a traditional present.

I ripped the gift wrapping into shreds. Excited to learn the mystery of what the thing was.

Inside the box, was another box. It was wrapped as well. Oh joy did so abound. The mystery remained. I continued in excitement unwrapping again.

This process continued until nothing at all remained. The very last package ever so small contained only emptiness. It was a perfect reflection of who and what I've become.
