I think they are testing HAARP. I don't think they have been deliberately trying to cause these earthquakes for malicious reasons.

They are probably testing it, with the focal point being underground. What happens when the focal point is in the sky, or on the surface of the earth?

There has been after shocks "replicas" as they are called in spanish. What caused the earthquake...well who can be 100% sure...here there are earthquakes all year round. We had a 6.1 one i think a year ago or so...in the last hours the aftershocks reported by ovsicori (sismology and vulcanology program for one of our universities) have reported 3.2, 4.1 and so on ones...ring of fire people we're so what used to it...why don't you use all of that energy and send it as a positive vibe instead of waiting for a bigger one. Haarp, tectonic movement or whatever caused it...
