Re: The Sun Is 100x Brighter Than It Used To Be
I went camping about 3 weeks ago and we did quite a bit of hiking out in the beating sun about 8000ft up on a mountain trail. I kept saying "It feels like the sun is a lot brighter or more intense then I remember it being." So its interesting to see this thread with other noticing it as well. The people in this thread that are talking shit weren't even alive, or way too young to know wtf we are talking about to begin with, so I wouldn't worry about them. It's super trendy right now to act like everyone around you is a fuckin idiot and your the cool guy with all the answers.

Don't be naive. They might be young, but that might not be the reason.

They might be getting paid to debunk everything that they are e-mailed/messenged to debunk.

Re: The Sun Is 100x Brighter Than It Used To Be
Yep, the sun does seem brighter and more intense than it has in previous decades. I think it's a number of reasons as to why this is happening.

1. The Arctic experienced its first hole in the ozone layer last year - something we (Antarctica/Australia) have been experiencing for a couple of decades now. When the hole down here was at its largest there was a spike in skin cancer and the sun really stings your skin within a few mins of exposure.
[link to www.abc.net.au]

2.Aging does tend to make your eyes more light sensitive.

3. Blue and green eyes are naturally more light sensitive than dark coloured eyes.

4. You are experiencing a hot summer and I know when we have hot summers most days the sky is almost white.

5. The sun has been very active over the last 12 months(?).

6. There is a hole in our magnetosphere which could also add to the brightness.

7. Chemtrails(?). With all those different metals being sprayed into the atmosphere - it has to do something that's just not natural.

Please feel free to add to this list. The hole in the ozone layer does have a lot to do with the brightness and intensity of the sun.

You know, I have noticed in the past couple of years that when the sun starts getting low on the horizon I am like, completely blinded by it. I get scared when I am driving because I can barely see, even with sunglasses and the visor down!

I live in a major metropolis so my guess is that the sun is reflecting of pollution/particulates in the air... yay.

OP,

Agreed, I too believe solar flux is on the rise and is VERY intense!!! Noticed I have 'to squint' in mid-morning sun and my skin burns easily in 20-30 minutes. I have carried mail for over 15 years and never have I noticed the intensity except for the last few months. You are not alone on this one!

I mean come on, how obvious is it?

When I walk outside now I have to squint so hard to see. When I was young I was able to look at the sun, if only for a few seconds, without any problems. The skies were bluer, and the sun was not as bright.

Now, it's like I'm super photosensitive, but others are complaining about the same thing. Something is going on, and it's not good. I just tried to go outside just to image the sun with a solarized filter and it was so goddamn bright I couldn't even position my camera to get a good view of it.

WTF is going on

AAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is like a mole coming out of the burrow after a year and screaming how bright the sun is. I LOVE IT MAN!!! Keep thinking this shit up so other people will be thinking more shit up then we''ll have a WHOLE LOTTA people thinking shit up!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep for sure you haven't been outside enough, computers will do that to ya. RUN WITH IT it's working!

Yeah OP, got to agree with you.

I went to Egypt a couple of years ago, now for obvious reasons, that was hot, very hot...but now, in the UK, the sun is actually stinging your skin when it decides to come out of the clouds, and white, as opposed to the yellow it was seen as before.

The sun has been scientifically theorized as being plasma, or plasma/nuclear reaction as opposed to just the nuclear reaction it was once thought to be, so passing through the charged particles of the photon belt, one can assume plasma/charged particles mix combination would intensify the the plasma reaction of our sun, making it stronger intensity in both heat and light/brightness. (Just a thought)

The passages as previously mentioned Isaiah 30:26, of the sun seven times brighter, the Mayan calender for December 21st 2012, and the collection of all the other prophecies for 2012/end times, it certainly seems something is going to occur very soon!

Many more things tie in...as i'm sure many people out there have connected a few dots together also.

Re: The Sun Is 100x Brighter Than It Used To Be
It's because the solar system is exiting the spiral arms and entering a less dense area of the galaxy. now with less galactic space debris, more electromagnetic energy will reach the earth, and the electric cosmos energy will energize the sun (more solar storms, more solar release, more intense light, etc) and further energize our planet. Our planet will be more energetic...more earthquakes, more extreme warmer weather, more droughts.

Of course, the elite will try to capitalize on this and manipulate our fears, saying it's man-made climate change, we need austerity, polar ice caps are shrinking, give us your money and labor, so you can further be indentured servants. believe us now and do what we say. we'll save you if only you obey us.

of course the sheeple will regurgitate their half-truth science and say "see the polar ice caps are melting, think of the polar bears! give us a carbon tax, plleeeeaassseeeee...oh why is everything increasing in price, gubment please help us again.....oh why is nothing working, gubment, please help us! aaauuuggggghhhhh!"

I'd love for there to be a Nibiru to hit the reset button on this piece of shit planet, but I don't know. I guess imaging the sun with my filter was my own hope to debunk it for my own catharsis.

I still couldn't even set up the damn camera though.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22879383

Dud, Sun is brighter maybe not 100x but as it is Solar max. in progress some X times for sure. Weather is strange cos Sun is burning this year a lot of land mass (aka woods, ice etc.)so a lot of diff. humidity pattern's and pressures are around.
You should know your camera more...that is for sure if you want to make Sun shot. Study it. It will get useful on a road.
I bet you will not see and other Sun...cos it is hidden in a shadow for a long time now and when it rust color come to be seen..would be already late for tomato plants..but not for you...and that is good part. :-)

I thought it was just me that noticed it being bright. So is the moon, and what is the red star or planet that comes up just before the sun? I also noticed that the sun doesn't rise and set where it used to. Anyone else notice this? It is more north in the morning and more north in the evening. I know that they either added or took a second away from time a few month's ago to try to get the sun directly overhead where it should be and are talking about either adding or taking away a few more seconds later. Maybe this has to do also with the FAA changing the numbering on the runways because north is off by a degree?

Take a walk in the woods and look at the underbrush with withered tips of branches..

These bushes are protected from direct sunlight by trees.. most of the time.. but when the sun hits them briefly.. they wither..

What does that tell a person..?

Watch the natural signs.

I too think the sun is brighter than it used to be, but a small part of me thinks it could be related to the aging process.

The sunlight also feels a lot hotter on my skin when it hits it directly.

Here is another clue..

I've grown tomatoes in my garden for thirty years.
This year the exposed tomatoes blistered in the sun..never happened before.
Large white blisters.
When have you known this to happen..?
The tomatoes shielded by leaves were fine.. no blisters.

This is weird, but last spring, after the Fuku quake, it was the complete opposite - I could stand outside and look right at the sun as if it were just a light bulb - it was VERY odd - and I noticed that the area around, when I'd look at the ground, the surfaces, the plants, didn't look very much like a lot of light was hitting them. It was as if the sun had been muted by something, was really "off" for me. I cannot usually look at the sun like that. It lasted a while, then slowly seemed to return to normal. I still have no idea what caused it - the skies were clear.
