Time speeding up? Until point zero? Are we getting closer?

if we all go to zero point; in my mind that refers to a reset or a reboot of some sort

ie; perhaps a dimensional shift through a void/ a barrier between worlds

is what you are saying after the reset or reboot, not everyone will be ready for the new world and have to be recycled or reincarnation

For those who fall under the belief of, "We have more technology and are therefore more distracted so it only seems like time is speeding up." -- it's not that at all. I've actually stopped watching TV and listening to music completely. I've started spending my free time when I'm not working simply sitting outside in nature and it still feels like time is flying by.

i watch very little t.v now as well. no cable, a lot of internet, no phone.. ive actually been reading more than ever in my life. strange times indeed

Imo with the ongoing energy buildup on this planet, due to nowadays cosmic(aquarian) influences (spaceweather), it is not unreasonable to assume our space/time constant may be upgraded to a higher energylevel of manifestation at saturationpoint (end of 2012 ?), resulting in space/matter becoming less physical and hence time events manifesting at a higher rate and personally modified to a greater extent by a more empowered humanity. Thanks for that it was only a theory I had. Maybe I should get unplugged for awhile and see if it feels the same. I know most people say it is because we are getting older but my teenage daughters say the same thing.when I was their age the days semm to last forever.

Did you ever notice how when you are going on a long road trip that the getting there part of the trip always seems so much faster than the coming home part of the trip? I'm figuring its an effect of anticipation (a thought form). We are anticipating this shift so I liken it to the road trip, anticipation makes time appear to go by faster.

I was thinking along similar lines... I was trying to think of instances of human behavior that usually coincide with losing track of time. Any time the body is in an alert/excited/energized state, it is more difficult to observe the passage of time. Playing sports, hiking, working out, watching a scary movie or thriller, playing video games, etc. Your example works too. The Schumann Resonance of the Earth (also referred to as the heartbeat of the Earth) is increasing and as it increases our bodies are said to match that frequency. A continuously subtle increase in this frequency would be much more difficult to discern & pinpoint than a sudden and dramatic increase in our energized state. So to me it makes sense that individuals would only have a vague awareness that our state of being was changing, but ultimately if our internal rhythms/frequency was rising, it would lead to less awareness of the passage of time.

Maybe this experience of our internal electromagnetic rhythms/frequencies increasing to match the frequency of the Earth coincides with McKenna's TimeWave Zero theory. As this process continues one would imagine we would lose track of time altogether (or time as we had come to understand it). I believe there are references to the changing nature of time in some of the Native American prophecies, reference to a returning to 'natural time' . I remember an interview with Gregg Braden and I can't remember if he was talking about Hopi or Mayan prophecy but there was the message that we would reach a point where it would no longer make sense to track time in the manner in which we had become accustomed to.

I always find this quote about the proverbial "24 hour day feeling like 16 hours" really interesting because before I ever did any research into the possibility of time speeding up, this is the exact conclusion I had come to -- that if I had to try to quantify my experience, I'd say the average day felt like it had been shrunk down to about 16 hours. I'm just curious to see what everyone else's experience has been. For everyone who's been posting in this thread or felt drawn to this thread because something about it resonates with you, what does it feel like to you if you had to put an actual number on it? Does a 16 hour day feel about right?

yes im very familiar with all the different brainwave states. I used to use binaural beats for helping with pain anxiety, all sorts of things. I used to meditate and dabble in the occult as well. It felt amazing at the time. I've read plenty of literature on religion even the not so popular ones (like the Gospel of Thomas you referred to) but I just don't see what this has to do with brain wave states? I get the connection you're trying to make and I understand what you're trying to explain...but why are you doing it?

I'm also familiar with all the "Isis is the bla bla Horus is the sun god same story as jesus crap" i watched zeitgeist like everyone else when it came out but point blank being is...its just not true. I know people want to "Ascend" or reach that "perfect consciousness" but it's just not that easy. Sorry to disappoint you buddy, if only it were that simple eh? Maybe just go paint a picture, play the piano, take a walk outside, plant a flower or a tree just to watch it flourish...thats how we should measure time, not by looking at numbers on a clock but by how the seasons change...and they definitely are there's no denying that!
