Re: Time speeding up? Until point zero? Are we getting closer?
Me and the hubs were talking about this the other day. We both can't freakin BELIEVE it's already the middle of September. It seems like just yesterday we were talking about the kids being on spring break....and now it's September. What happened to June, July and August?? I know we went thru them because they are marked off on my calendar...but I can't seem to remember the days passing.

Almost like you go to sleep and wake up and it's a month later.

Freakin weird.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23455790

Same as that. I've got time on my hands at the moment, so theoretically the days should seem longer, but it just seems that I wake up and it's Monday and the next day it's Saturday. I think I'll phone my sister in England for a chat and she asks why I haven't rung for weeks, but it felt like I had rung only a few days ago. I'm glad it's not just me. And it's getting worse.

Re: Time speeding up? Until point zero? Are we getting closer?
I can only do about 1/10th of what I used to do in a day.....and nothing else has changed. More and more things that I used to do regularly get put off because I don't have the time. Some of my friends say the same thing. Different ages / young & old. Weird.

Re: Time speeding up? Until point zero? Are we getting closer?
Time feels to me more like it's non-existent rather than speeding up.
 Quoting: Se7en

Because it is Non-existent! History, The Now and The Future are all happening at the same time. Time is a construct of the HUMAN MIND and doesn't exist in the Spirit World.
 Quoting: ****SUPERFLY****

Yes. And as we are awakening, and starting understand/grasp that time doesn't exist. Time starts to disapear. I guess we would experience that as if it is speeding up, until it seice to exist. And since everything happens at the same time, we are starting to see all the synchronicities. What I think about, or feels, happends to me more and more everyday. The last month, or so, has been wild I believe this is the time to make anything good happen!

Are we? Anyone else feeling this? As well as feeling mentally and physically exhausted (but in an usual way) time seems to be passing in larger and larger chunks its wired days are feeling like hours weeks like days months like weeks (maybe slight exaggeration but you know what I mean). A great sense of something is coming? Anyone else?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1906908

Something like that.
And yet the best proof of spiritual/psychic/soul dimensions speeding up - is the now daily chemtrailing.

As if they try to block the sun completely. To turn down the vitamin D intake, to spoil the crops, and your lungs and blood.

Count the days of clear blue skies vs. cloudy matrix week after week. At best one has 1 shiny day, and the planes immediately come chemtrailing, and the next day, again, cloudy.

Kerosin don't make lingering trails, so it's all chemtrails.
To make rain, when the crops need sunshine - don't think so.
So cloud seeding ain't for the purpose of making it rain. Unless death from above.

CHEMTRAILS, many motives behind it. And yet people still argue, whether chemtrails exist or not. LOFL

How long will it take, when people start dropping like insects?

Expect more coughing, chronic lung problems, strong headaches, anemia-like conditions, immunity system failure.

The powershrimps that be are truly speeding up the poisoning!

From the number of 5 star ratings this thread has, it's clear that this is resonating with many people. My personal opinion is there is a definite change of our perception of "time" (whatever time is) and for what reason, who knows.

I agree that of course as we age we all get that distinct impression that we don't have much time as we used to and that time is speeding up. However this is much much different.

Something is definitely not right, people say its what happens as you get older but that just doesn't fit people regardless of age are saying the same thing the days are just flying past, I'm also having the feeling of great anticipation not sure if it's good or bad sometimes feels good sometimes bad it's odd

Our brains work in a really particular way

The time it takes from year 0 to year 1 is equal to your entire life and the same form 1 to 2 and 2 to 4 and 4 to 8 you get my drift. This is why it probably felt your days lasted for ever back in elementary because you hadn't experienced time before and now you are more aware of it and seems to pass faster. Kids feel like you felt back in the day but time still has its 24 hour clock for us but your biological time speeds up each year that passes. Sucks tho. Enjoy life
 Quoting: mems3

Not true. Today, time flies for children as well. I know serval who ask, why don't I ever have time to do anything?
Why does the week go by so fast? HOw can summer already be over?
Could be that life is faster for them today? The old, your justing getting older thing, just doesn't explain it anymore though.

I'm going to have to agree.
 Quoting: Lo0seR

Kids saying their time flies is an example of what I'm trying to say. They cant understand how we feel as adults because they havent reached that point. They probably dont remember their years before certain age but I sure do and I remember my days being so long. It used to be eternal mornings, long ass rides to school, eternal school hours that never ended, lunch lasted for ever, after school was forever and nigh-time also seemed to last forever. Now I just wake up and find myself going back to sleep in what seems to be a couple of hours. I could have never explained this back then.

A good example for my theory is size.

You are likely two or three times as large as say when you were 5... It used to take you 10 steps from one side of a room to another now it only takes you 2 or three. (this is an example, not criticizing anyones ability to walk from one side of a room to another)

Re: Time speeding up? Until point zero? Are we getting closer?
Just adding my two cents. I have to agree..it does seem like its going much faster--with no time to get things done. I've had this urgency, the last couple of years, to get things finished..not because I'm old, but because..time is going so fast..I know that whats to come will feel more like months passing..rather than years.

This seems to be happening on all levels. Just a few days ago..I THOUGHT it was September 2. It was..the 7th.

Really strange.

I agree with your statement, but this I believe this is on another level completely, that every human being alive is or will be shortly experiencing this. For instance the other day I was talking to my grandad (who is 91 and amazing for his age) and even he said to he has no idea where his time is going the last year or so and that he never has time to do anything, a 91 year old man. He told me the last few weeks he's even missed his favourite radio show as he thought it was a lot earlier that it actually was (in 20 years he's seldom misse it).

My point is this why is he just experiencing this now even he says time goes quicker with age but not like this, everyone I speak to young and very old seem to be sensing something off with what we perceive as time.

Terence McKenna talking about "The Eschaton"

The video is based on selected remarks by Terence McKenna in a recently released interview conducted in 1998 in Hawaii by John Buzard. The full one hour + interview, is available on Vimeo at [link to www.hazarddp.com]

Recorded shortly before he was diagnosed with brain cancer from which he died in April of 2000, Terence describes his vision of how time is creating greater complexity as it moves towards the end point, or Eschaton. Using the Time Wave Zero calculations based on the I Ching which correspond with the Mayan calendar (and the human DNA structure), Terence explains how the process of concrescence is causing matter and consciousness to connect in amazing ways, as demonstrated by the rise of the internet and personal computers.

I didn't succeed in uploading the original vid here, so i uploaded a mirror.

Quote out of the interview:
"What history is, is the 25.000 yr transition-zone. Before you enter the zone, you're an animal. After you leave the zone, you're a god! But for 25.000 yrs you're kind of an animal, and kind of a god." - Terence McKenna

R.I.P. for the real Wubbo Ockels. He was a true icon of my country, and a great front-fighter for sustainable energie/technology and humanism.

"Yes, we have hurdles, we have distractions, we have disasters, personally and world-wide, and we do have to work it all out ourselves. BUT, there is a most amazing experience awaiting us on the other end of the finish-line.
The idea being, once we can handle it all down here, then we can live and explore eternally, responsibly, because we know what not to do, and not be resentful about being responsible, so we don't start a polarity domino effect in the other realms of existence."

"The Fraction" of Life can be increased in value not so much by increasing your Numerator as by lessening your Denominator. Nay, unless my Algebra deceive me, Unity itself divided by Zero will give Infinity."

"point zero" some people associate it with time wave zero derived using the iching

To be honest... I believe it is the internet. I have been spending less and less time online, and it makes me feel this new ease, and I do more of the stuff I used to do. Reading, drawing, etc.

It all started because I read about the over-stimulation that goes on in your brain, when you look at a computer screen. It is worse than TV. It is proven that you will sleep much, much more soundly at night, if you refrain from using your computer after dinnertime.

Think about how much time you spend "just checking" shit. Perhaps we are loosing sense of time and space because we spend so much time in a virtual space. There is no denying that is must take away from other things.

Think about it- the world wide WEB. We are all little flies finding ourselves more and more stuck.

here's my theory...

life is but a dream. as we come to realize that (maybe it's wakey wakey soon??), weird things happen... like:

people saying and DOING!!! the most outlandish things
loads of 'coincidences'
and us not being able to relate to time the way we used to.

think about how time progresses in a normal nights dream... you just can't get a handle on it.

so that's my theory.

Another interest thread I found on glp from earlier this year regarding this, interesting to its specifically asking people between 40 and 60 if there perception of time over just the last few years has changed

Thread: ONLY 40-60-year old GLPers...... IS time speeding for you too?

Something is going on and I think we're not too far away from finding out what it is
